After that, the teacher reiterated the students’ attendance who are attending
the online classes through Google Meet which is significant to be able to update
their knowledge and skills of the competencies they need to learn every day. She
mentioned that students seldom attend their classes and attendance are getting
smaller every day. She encouraged the parents to monitor their children if they are
attending classes or not. She said that the students must join the Google Meet
before 6:50 am to attend the class’s daily routine and be able to use the remaining
time for Homeroom Guidance which is supposed to be done on Fridays.
Submission of outputs this second quarter should be on time and be submitted to
the right person or teacher thru FB messenger. Transferees must be able to submit
their birth certificates and Form 137 as soon as possible to avoid delays. The
school calendar was also presented to which Christmas break, start and end o f
the quarter, end of school year rites, and others were included. As always, Grading
System in the New Normal set by the DepEd was explained. Project FREE
Education was also presented. This includes the Self-learning Modules which
online class students received every quarter. Online class students can use the soft
copy found in SDO-Makati Bin of Materials shared via Google Drive but made it
accessible by the teacher for the students by sending the extracted files in
messenger group chat. Mam Sikat also reminded the Religion schedule and
encouraged students to attend which is set every Friday at 11:00 am. Complains
regarding a person or a teacher must be addressed to the right person to avoid
misunderstanding. The teacher encouraged the students to attend the class
everyday and be active for the possible conduct of virtual Christmas Party which
date is still tentative on December 17, 2021. Other matters include reminders from
Mam Guia F. Jumawid, that she will conduct a makeup class on Tuesday,
November 30 at 8:00-9:00 am, because she will not be able to attend on Thursday
for some valid reasons. The teacher asked the parents to raise questions and
queries, but everything seemed to be fine. The meeting ended smoothly at 9:30 am
