“AN INDUSTRIOUS FARMER and ENTREPRENEUR”

A life of a mother that always looks for means to raise her


children, providing their needs and securing their future is very much
treasured.
A graduate of Agricultural Crop Production NC II and Organic
Agriculture Production NC II, FLORESA BAROMAN ALFORQUE, 54
years old resided at Purok 1 Sudlon, Salvador, Lanao del Norte. A
mother of five beautiful and good children and has a good husband.
Aside from these qualifications, she was a graduate of Bread and Pastry
Production NC II way back 2012 and Dressmaking NC II last 2019.
She is an entrepreneur of snacks like “kakanin” in the school. As
she knows that the school opens new courses in Agriculture the
eagerness she felt in acquiring the skills she wanted to have. It will help
her enhance their farming capabilities and techniques in farming.
Floresas’s children are always with them in augmenting the land.
According to her, the skills she had acquired from her trainer Arlan E.
Garcines helps a lot in producing crops.
She planted String Beans, eggplant, Lady finger, etc. In her string
beans that she planted for months, during it’s harvest she earned
14,000.00 pesos. Mostly vegetable sellers in the market will always look
for her string beans and other harvested crops.
She was thankful TESDA to be benefitted with knowledge, skills
and attitude. With the complete set of toolkits that will surely contribute
to farming. Through her effort in farming this will help them sustain
their children’s education.
