The following personnel are responsible to ensure that the Life Saving and fire fighting equipment onboard
are maintained in good condition and available for immediate use.
CHIEF OFFICER (In Charge) and THIRD OFFICER (Maintenance Officer)
PRIMARY MUSTER STATION: PORT SIDE UPPER DECK.
SECONDARY MUSTER STATION: CREW MESS ROOM
GENERAL EMEREGENCY SIGNAL ( Common for all emergencies)
SIGNAL : SEVEN SHORT BALAST FOLLOWED BY ONE PROLONG BLAST ON SHIP'S WHISTLE AND BELL
FIRE:CONTINOUS RINGING OF BELL WHEN ACTIVATED BY MANUALLY OPERATED CALL POINT OR SMOKE DETECTOR
INSTRUCTIONS: Any Emergency which requires the crew to muster at the MUSTER STATIONS will be indicated by this COMMON SIGNAL.
(This includes but is not restricted to Fire, grounding, collision, MOB, enclosed space incident, Pollution etc).
Once mustered, the Master will inform the Team leaders over the walky takies as well as make an announcement over the PA system.
Supernumararies and Visitors shall Muster on the Bridge and report to the Master. Elevators are not to be used during Emergencies.

Instructions: On hearing the Lifeboat Muster Signal all crew members shall proceed to their Lifeboat Stations with their Lifejackets and Immersion Suit's and suitably
dressed with Personal Protective Equipment (including, Overalls, Helmets and safety shoes). No survival craft will be launched without the MASTERS verbal Command.
