    PATTERN NOTES
    This scarf is soft, lustrous, and aesthetically
    reversible. Vertical rows of contrasting colors
    decorate the “right side”, but the “wrong side”
    features bars of color that are just as enticing.
    Odette makes this cowl featherweight without
    sacrificing warmth. This is the perfect piece to
    wrap around your neck on chilly days.

    This cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up.


    In this pattern slip all stitches purlwise with yarn
    held in back.

    STITCH GUIDE
    Skip Rib
    (multiple of 3 sts)
    Rnd 1: With color A, knit.
    Rnd 2: With color B, * sl 1, p2; rep from * to end.
    Rnd 3: With Color A, * sl 1, k2; rep from * to end.
    Rnd 4: Rep Rnd 2.
    Rep Rnds 1-4 for patt.

    COWL
    Lower Edge
    With color A, cast on 279 sts. PM and join to
    work in the round, being careful not to twist. Abbreviations
    Odd Rnds 1-7: Knit. approx. approximately
    Even Rnds 2-8: Purl. cont continue
    est’d established
    Main Cowl k knit
    Join color B, do not break color A. meas measures
    Rnd 1: Work in Skip Rib patt to end. p purl
    Cont as est’d through Rnd 4 of patt, then rep patt pattern
    Rnds 1-4 of patt until piece meas approx. 4¾”, pm place marker
    ending with Rnd 4. rep repeats
    Break color B. Cont with color A only. rnd(s) round(s)
