A Detailed Lesson Plan in Mathematics 7

I .Objectives
At the end of the lesson, 90% of the learners are expected to:
 define the three measures of central tendency of ungrouped data;
 solve the data using mean, median and mode; and
 cite applications of mean, median and mode in real-life scenarios.

II. Subject Matter


Topic: Measures of Central Tendency of Ungrouped Data
Reference: Mathematics 7 Curriculum Guide pp. 217, Foster, A.G et. Al (1983),
“Merrill Algebra Two with Trigonometry” pp. 461.
Materials: Laptop, Projector, Power Point Presentation, Flashcards and Evaluation Sheets
Values Integration: Cooperation in performing the group activities; and patience in
solving the given data.

the Mean of the Ungrouped Data. Based
on what we did, what do you think is the
meaning of the mean of ungrouped data? -Yes, sir.
- Correct! Let me define what is mean of
ungrouped data.
- Mean- is the sum off all the values
divided by the total number of values. The
formula for the mean is: -91.4, sir.
