This chapter is the presentation of the summary, findings, conclusions

and recommendations. The data that led to the findings were made as basis

for the formulation of conclusions and recommendations for necessary

attentions in order to attain the specific objectives.

Summary

This study determined the study habits, values to be integrated to

enhance the study habits and factors affecting in the study habits among

Criminology Students of Ceguera Technological Colleges.

The specific questions answered were the following:

beneficial to the Students, Teachers, Administrators, Future Researchers,

Researchers together with the Ceguera Technological Colleges.

1.A. Criminology students always practice marking exam dates,

project due dates, and assignments in a calendar of the semester with a

weighted mean of 4.49. This means that Criminology students always

have a calendar of the semester and they marked it with important dates

such as exams, projects due or classwork. On the other hand, Criminology

peer with a weighted mean of 4.23 followed by students reviewing over

several chapter (4.15), reviewing older material before an exam (4.12)

and dealing with studying for exams three days before (3.55). Whereas,

students sometimes practice reviewing for exams by explaining concepts

to others (3.45) and making up exam questions and answer them (3.15.).

Also, the table indicate that Criminology students often practice Exam

Preparation with an average weighted mean of 3.78.

studying with a weighted mean of 4.40 while they sometimes practice

planning time to do assignment (3.45) which is second in rank, working

on more difficult task first (3.15), followed by turning the assignment on

time (3.10) and lastly setting specific goals for each subject (2.55). The

students sometimes practice this Study habits.

1.E. In the fifth indicator, Criminology students not often practice

taking notes with 1.52 weighted mean while they never practice taking

notes while reading assignments (1.49) and reviewing ng revising notes

in delivering class presentations.

1.G. Study habits among Criminology students of Ceguera

Technological Colleges. It shows that Criminology students often practice

Time Management as their Study Habits with a weighted mean of 4.30,

class attendance and participation (4.29) and exam preparation (3.78).

(1.28). The table also indicate that Criminology students sometimes

practice Study Habits with an average weighted mean of 3.07.

2. The indicator Responsible and sensible has the highest rank when it

comes to the values that can be integrated to enhance the study habits

among Criminology Students of Ceguera Technological Colleges with a

weighted mean of 4.36 interpreted as Often (O). Findings also revealed

sequentially arranged from the highest weighted Mean, that the four (4)

indicators also garnered and verbally interpreted as Often as follows:

Discipline and resilience, 4.23 (O); Respect and empathy, 4.15 (O);

1.B. Criminology student were very active in attending online class

lectures for they often attend class regularly since they were very

curious about what were they going to learn and what technique that

lecturers used in teaching them.

1.C. Concerning exam preparation, the students often practice this

study habits. It can be concluded that, students had lack of

preparation to face the exam. In reviewing the material, they are

more comfortable doing it with their friends by online so that they can

exchange knowledge with each other and learn from each other.

However, students had a lack of interest in using other strategies like

making up exam questions. These probably because students are not

familiar with the strategy and are seen have difficult things to do.

1.D. In the fourth indicator about general study strategy, the

students sometimes practice this Study habits. It can be concluded

that during the implementation of online learning, students had tried

to get used to it and found some new strategies to learn. This can be

seen from the way they plan to finish the assignment on time, looking

for additional references from the internet to asking lecturers about

the material given.

performance while students have inadequate Note Taking as their

Study Habits and they have Academic Stress as well.

2. The Criminology students identify all of the five (5) indicators:

Responsible and Sensible, Discipline & Resilience, Respect & Empathy,

Tolerance & understanding and Critical Thinking as the values that can

often be integrated to enhance the study habits of the students. It can

be concluded that students are aware that they need to be

Responsible and Sensible with a lot of factors and things so that they

can have adequate study habits that would help them perform well.

3. The indicator Mental Stress due to Covid 19 pandemic has the

highest rank when it comes to the factors affecting on the study habits

among Criminology Students of Ceguera Technological Colleges while

Teachers ignoring the Challenges encountered by the students in their

study habits was the lowest in rank. It can be concluded that Mental

Stress affect the student’s study habits and performance in class.

4. Most of the students need a solution about knowing and enhancing

their study habits for them to be aware on how to integrate values in

their study habits for them to perform well.

Recommendations

on Study Habits through the Students Attitude and Values

Enhancement (SAVE) Program.

2. Instructors should help the students on the values they can integrate

on students Study Habits.

3. The Human Resources team of the school should consider and

formulate policies for 30- 60 minutes down time daily on the allocation

of subjects of the students to give the time to rest.

4. The school policy makers should formulate, instill, and implement

policies on moral standards, and have an individual sense of self-worth
