    A. Presentation per Strand
    1. There must be a representative/s in each track.
    2. Each strand may choose from the following types of presentations:
     Dance Presentation (e.g., cultural, modern, or
    interpretative dances).
     Musical Play or Drama (featuring acting, singing, or
    dancing).
     Musical Ensemble (e.g., singing groups or bands).
     Playing Instruments (e.g., solo or group instrumental
    performances).
     Other creative presentations that combine talents in
    dancing, acting, and music.
    3. Performances must not exceed 5 minutes, including entrance and
    exit.
    4. Performances should highlight the unique talents of the strand.
    5. Content must be appropriate for a school setting, avoiding themes
    that are offensive or inappropriate.
    6. Failure to adhere to the established guidelines may result in a 5-
    points deduction from the total score.

    Talent and Skill -40%


    Creativity and Originality -20%
    Stage Presence and Expression -20%
    Overall Impact -10%
    Total -100%

    B. Cheers & Yells Competition Guidelines


    1. Performers must ensure that at least 90% of each track’s population
    (in the LIS) actively participates in the performance.
    2. Chants can be accompanied by clapping and only music beat is
    allowed. (Drums and other instruments are not allowed)
    3. Each team shall perform within 5 minutes.
    4. Timing shall start right after the emcee’s cadence which is your
    time start now. Timing shall end after all the performers exit the
    stage.
    5. Observing innovativeness and creativity with the costume design
    and props are encouraged.
    6. Decency should be highly observed.
    7. Use of aerial and floor stunts are not allowed.
    8. Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
    9. Failure to adhere to the established guidelines may result in a 3
    points deduction from the total score.

    CRITERIA FOR JUDGING


    Choreography / Execution - 35%
    Mastery - 25%
    Costume and Props - 20%
    Cheers and Yells - 10%
    Over – all impact - 10%

    C. VOCAL SOLO
    1. There must be only one male or one female participant from
    each strand.
    2. The participants must perform an OPM song.
    3. Each participant is given 3-5 minutes for their performance.
    4. Only one song is allowed per participant.
    5. The accompaniment should be a minus one track
    6. Failure to adhere to the established guidelines may result in a 3-
    points deduction from the total score.

    CRITERIA
    Voice Quality & Tonality - 40%
    Control & Technique - 30%
    Interpretation & expression - 20%
    Stage Presence & Impact -10%
    Total -100%

    D. VOCAL DUET
    1. Each strand must be represented by a pair of participants (one male
    and one female, two males, or two females).
    2. The participants must perform an OPM song.
    3. Each participant is given 3-5 minutes for their performance.
    4. Only one song is allowed per pair.
    5. The accompaniment should be a minus one track
    6. Failure to adhere to the established guidelines may result in a 3-
    points deduction from the total score.

    Vocal Harmony and Blending -40%


    Voice Quality and Technique -30%
    Stage Presence and Expression -20%
    Audience Impact -10%
    Total -100%
