INTRODUCTION
is an acronym for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. These are the different
types of events that MICE covers. By nature, MICE is tourism. When referring to structure
and objective, it is an event-organizing industry. Some people also refer to MICE as business
tourism or business events. The MICE industry refers to the business that involves
organizing, conducting, and attending business and leisure events. Other leisure events such
as festivals or concerts belong to a different category, but organizers make use of leisure
elements to engage attendees better. The MICE industry also includes taking care of travel
and tourism needs. It makes up a large part of global business travel as meetings, incentives,
conferences, and exhibitions invite and attract attendees from different parts of the country
and of the world.
Punjab Infrastructure Development Authority (PIDB), the nodal agency of the Government
of Punjab for undertaking PPP projects, has been entrusted to carry out a transparent
competitive bid process for selection of Private Sector Player on behalf of GMA
OBJECTIVE
The facilities will be at par with the best in the industry worldwide, in size and quality;
offering an efficient and quality setting for international as well as national meetings,
conferences, exhibitions and trade shows.
The size and diversity of the project, suggests that each area will have unique features that
define both, the challenges and the opportunities to stimulate investment and generate a
desirable level of success.
To evolve a design with forms and spaces with distinct architectural features focusing on
space utilization and functions. This project deals with a design which is well adoptable in
terms of typology, functions and climatic conditions.
In this thesis i will design the convention center in detail and blocking of other facilities like
exhibition halls, hotels, and commercial areas.
METHODOLOGY
The site of the Project is spread across 15 acres and is owned and managed by GMADA.
The
site lies within the under development IT City and is located on the 200-ft IT City Road
which
directly connects it to the Chandigarh International Airport (~7.5 km). The SAS Nagar
Mohali
Railway station is located at a distance of ~8.5 km. Major industrial focal points such as the
Quark City and Philips factory lie within a 10 km radius of the site with direct access via
Aero City Road.

INTRODUCTION
Resource Center is an institution with a support system in providing services for children
with special needs, teachers, parents and the community in the implementation of inclusive
education Resource Center is part of the Special School, the Resource Center itself has a
separate program from the school. resource center or resource center is a special institution
formed in the framework of developing special education / inclusive education that can be
used by all children, especially children with special needs, parents, families, public schools,
special schools, the community.
The CoA Architectural Centers are extensions of the academic wing of the CoA in various
geographical regions of the country and strive to be centers of excellence, imparting quality
training to academicians, professionals in current trends in education and profession. The
Centers act as a platform for conducting organized research in emerging fields of architecture
and disseminating knowledge through quality publications. They also provide motivation and
support to students of architecture through awards programs, competitions, exhibitions, and
public juries.
AIM
The Centre of Excellences (COEs) provides a forum for interaction among scholars,
academicians, professionals, co-professionals, beneficiaries and stakeholders through
workshops, seminars, joint research projects, etc.

The CoA-COE of Bengaluru will act as the national resource center for the profession to
nurture and advance the culture of design, education and innovation in the country, and will:

different perspective on their lives so they can return to their lives with enthusiasm and
creative energy.
This community intends to showcase a lifestyle focused on spiritual awareness, rejuvenation

It not only associated with design, but it is a lifestyle that transmits clarity, order and calmness.
Brings us the understanding of where we are in relationship too. All the great spiritual tradition
are about discovering ourselves in ways that help us to grow in happiness and love and
awakening to the presence of god in their lives.
Retreats for primary school children, teenage youth, nurses, lawyer, or married women.
AIM
To explore how architecture can inform healing or provide spaces and events where healing
can take place.
We as human being have an inner connection with our environment by physical, mental,
emotional and spiritual means. This connection can create a dynamic life that people can
thrive in every aspect.
To design an center for tranquality that act as the space for well-being, self-sustained built
environment that provokes mental and physical healing.
OBJECTIVE
• the main objective is to examine the spiritual qualities of the architecture that are
required to design a meditation center.
• The sacred aspects of architecture will be analyzed with relevance to nature and
context.
• Sensory experience in architecture will be studied to understand the relation of man
and his environment .
• Landscaping elements, geometry, proportion, symbolism and aesthetics will be areas
of investigation to understand the factors required to reinforce the quality and
enhance the character of space created for human occupation.
SCOPE
• The building will be an attempt to create the spirit of place rather than a concrete
enclosure.
• Architecture is an enabler for better spiritual health rather than being the focus of
attraction.
• Architectural intervention would be done only where necessary.
• The architecture would also explore the philosophies and science of pyramid energy
and would try to integrate the same
• Different types of spaces based on different chakras would be explored: group
spaces, solitary spaces, recreation/trails and therapy spaces.
LIMITATION
The main challenge is study the elements of architecture that is appropriate for everybody.
The major concentration would be on the study of architectural qualities that are necessary in
creating a spiritual environment. There will be a brief discussion on the aspect of religion and
nature.
