Feminism Inforgraphic
Feminism is both an intellectual devotion and a political movement which in all forms
seeks justice for women and the end of sexism. Feminist inquiry offers a broad
variety of viewpoints on social , cultural , economic, and political phenomena, guided
by the desire for social justice. The term "feminism" was used to refer to "the
qualities of women" in the mid-1800s, and it was not until after the First
International Women's Conference in Paris in 1892 that the term was used
frequently in English, following the French term féministe, to believe and promote
equal rights for women based on the principle of gender equality.

3 BASIC CONCEPTS
What feminists want the world to know, or at least acknowledge is the different
ways men and women are treated, and although there have been great strides
towards equality, women and men are far from playing on the same field.
There isn't just one type of feminism, there are a variety of feminist groups
including: girlie feminist, third-wave feminist, pro-sex feminist, and so on. All these
groups aim to deal with different types of discrimination women, and sometimes
men, face.
