for compare? too, as well as, likewise, both in common and like

Okay very good!

What about the contrast.
We used the words however, while on the other hand,
What are the signals
while, but, different, although, instead of, instead and
words/phrases to be used?
unlike ma’am.

all about affixes. There are
two types of affix which is the
prefix and the suffix.
Let us define what is affix all
about.
An affix is added to the root
of a word to change its
meaning. An affix added to
the front of a word is known
as a prefix. One added to the
back is known as a suffix.
Sometimes, prefixes are
hyphenated.

Base on the video that you

watched, what are the
prefixes used? The prefixes used are tri, dis and sub ma’am.

Very good!
What is the root word used
for tri?
The root word used in the video is angle ma’am.

Angle is correct, so if the

prefix is tri and the root word
is angle, what word can we
form if we add the prefix tri to
the root word angle? Triangle ma’am

Very good! we can form the

word triangle.
What about the prefix dis?
What is the root word used in
the video? The root word used in the video is cover ma’am.

the root word cover what
word can we form? We can form the word discover ma’am.

What about the prefix sub?

The root word used is way.
What word can we form? The word subway ma’am.
Very good!
Let us read more words with
prefixes. Remember that
prefix is a word part added in
front of a base word to
change the meaning.

The root words given are event, begin and happy
ma’am.
So if we combine the suffixes
and the root words given
what are the new words that
The words that we can form are eventful, beginning
we can form.
and happiness ma’am.

Very good! There are also

some
examples of suffixes and their
meaning.
Let us read more words with
suffixes. Remember that suffix

end of a base word to change
the meaning.
