Varanasi Aurangabad road project is a project of Ministry of road transport and
highways (MORTH). It is a joint venture of NHAI and Sphiro Infratech Pvt. Ltd and
others.

We have undergone a Summer Entrepreneurship which was
meticulously planned and guided at every stage so that it became
a lifetime experience for me. This could not be realized without
the help from numerous sources and people in the Govt Engg
College Aurangabad and Department of Civil Engineering.
Our profound gratitude goes to our wonderful Internship
coordinator, Dharmendra Kumar (Asst. Prof., Dept. of Civil
Engineering), for his invaluable support, patience, time and
guidance in seeing me to the completion of this Internship. We
are also very grateful to Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sinha (HOD, Dept. of
Civil Engineering, GEC Aurangabad) for his kind support and
guidance.

Project Cost Rs. 2848 Crore

The 192 km six-lane project is situated in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.


The contract value for the company is estimated at Rs 2,366 crore.
Under the contract, the WEL will undertake the procurement and
construction, while engineering will be undertaken by the SPV. The
project construction has been started in April 2021 and is likely to be
completed in 24 to 27 months.
