ANCHOR1: Starting up for local news, A man from Kalinga died from a shooting in a resto bar. Here is
Andrei Villa for the update.
REPORTER1: In a resto-bar located in San Juan, Tabuk, Kalinga, two groups of men were drinking
when the suspect stood up from his table and got something from his friend which seems to be a
concealed firearm. He then suddenly shot the victim from the other table. According to the police, the
victim died while his friend was injured. The group involved in the shooting was then caught and

ANCHOR2: Meanwhile, in Trece Martires City, Cavite, a 16-year-old girl was found dead under a
bridge. Here is Elyza Milanes for the report.
REPORTER2: A 16-year-old girl was found dead under a bridge in Trece Martires City, Cavite. The girl
was found stripped naked and had bruises on her neck and head. According to the authorities, they believe
that the victim was raped due to bruises found in her private area. A P50,000 reward will be given to
anyone who could give information to the suspects involved. Elyza Milanes reporting, for ATN News.

ANCHOR1: Welcome back to ATN News, despite the heavy rainfall that we have been experiencing this
past few weeks, the water levels of Angat Dam, which is the main source of water in Metro Manila,
continue to drop below the minimum level. Here is R3 for the report.
REPORTER3: Cyril, as of now, PAGASA stated that the current water level in Angat Dam is below the
minimum which is 176.16 meters as of 6 AM this morning. Unfortunately, the rains and thunderstorms
brought by the southwest monsoon weren't enough to make up for the dam's lack of water, according to
the state weather bureau. R3, reporting for ATN News.
ANCHOR1: Meanwhile, Inflation rate in the Philippines slows down by 6.3%, here is R4 for the report.
REPORTER4: The inflation rate in the Philippines is at 6.3%. According to the Philippine Statistic
Authority Summary Inflation Report, inflation eased by 6.3% as of August 2022 despite five months of
continuous acceleration. The drop in national inflation in August 2022 was due to the lower annual
increase recorded in the index for transportation, food, and non-alcoholic beverages. However, inflation
rates were higher for basic commodities during this month such as alcoholic beverages, tobacco, clothing,
footwear, housing, water, electricity, gas, and more. R4, reporting for ATN News.

weather today?
REPORTER5: Good day, Manila, here's our weather forecast for today, September 19, 2022. The
southwest monsoon continues to affect the Western portion of Central and Southern Luzon. Meanwhile,
typhoon Josie raged in the Southern area of Japan where it continues to rain and the winds are powerful.
Inside our Philippine Area of Responsibility, there's still no monitored low-pressure area, especially on
the Pacific Ocean. The southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies, rainfall, and thunderstorms in Bataan,
Zambales, Metro Manila, Occidental Mindoro, the Northern portion of Palawan, and the Kalayaan
Islands. The other parts of Luzon will have a great sunny day but there's a chance of isolated rainfall due
to the thunderstorm. In Visayas and Mindanao, the weather will be great but there's also a chance of a
thunderstorm. They may experience light to moderate rainfall, mostly by afternoon or in the evening. R5,
