QUALITY CONTROL/QUALITY ANALYST
This certification course is designed and developed by CORE TRAINING &

Roles Played By QA/QC Engineer

A QA/QC Engineer plays a major role in almost all industry. Their work involves
monitoring of products, testing them and ensuring that it meets the specified
standards. They have to check the durability of the products and in case of any
concern try and find a solution to it. They have to make sure that the production
takes place in the proper manner and the quality of the product is maintained.
There are a wide variety of opportunities for QA/AC mechanical engineers. There

Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT as per SNT-TC-1A)
NDT is a specialized branch of engineering science
which use of noninvasive techniques to determine the
integrity of a material, component or structure without
impairing its usefulness and is an integral part of
Quality Assurance and Quality Control. It confirms
quality of materials such as structural beams, pipes,
plates, valves, nozzles etc. used in construction of
industrial equipment’s. It also confirms quality of
fabrication and joining process where testing of welds is
of major importance. General procedure for NDT has
given in ASME Section V and engineers have to follow
these procedures for each NDT methods. Hence NDT
training and certification is a must for QA/QC
Engineers.

ASNT - SNT TC 1A 2020 and other standards.

Destructive Testing (DT) services allow sample materials to be tested in a controlled lab
environment until the point of failure.

The components and materials were test typically experience extreme stress, pressure, and
loads during normal operation. DT simulates these forces in order to observe material
