    PRIZE STRUCTURE
    (A FIDE RATED RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT)

    RULES & REGULATIONS

    1. Tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and


    Fide Swiss System with 9 rounds.

    2. Time control - 15 minutes + 15 seconds increment per move


    from move number 1 for the entire game.

    3. Tie Breaks: Incase of a tie, the latest Tie Break Rules from FIDE
    will be followed.

    4. Arbiter - R. Balasubramanian will be the Chief Arbiter for the


    event.

    5. Appeals Committee - Protests, if any, against the decision of


    the Chief Arbiter must be lodged within 15 minutes of incident,
    with protest fee of Rs.2000/- in writing to the Appeals
    Committee, to be formed at the start of the tournament. The
    appeals committee decisions will be final and binding on all
    players concerned.

    6. A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after


    informing the chief arbiter in writing

    7. Organizers reserve the right to accept or reject any entry


    without stating any reason thereof.

    8. One player is obliged to receive only one prize, either in the Main
    category or in the sub-category whichever has the higher cash
    prize.

    9. Mobile phones and Watches are strictly prohibited in the


    tournament hall.

    10.AICF \ TNSCA registration is a must for the participating

    ENTRY FEES

    1. Rs.1500/- for rated and unrated players.


    For GM / WGM / IM / WIM FREE ENTRY.
    2. Free Accommodation for Grand Masters. Lunch will be provided for
    all GM / WGM / IM / WIM on both days.
    3. Other players have to make their own arrangements for food & stay.

    3. AICF registration is mandatory for all players for the period


    2023-24. This should be done online before the event.

    4. TNSCA registration is mandatory for all TN players and CDCA


    registration for all Chennai players. Players must get registered
    before the start of the event.

    5. Last date of entry 5pm, 14th June 2023. STRICTLY NO SPOT
