    Sir:

    Greetings!

    The undersigned has the honor to apply for study leave to attend an
    international degree program. I received the offer of admission (Letter of
    Acceptance) in Early Childhood Education, a one-year program Last May 9, 2022
    intake and was deferred on September 2023 to Child and Youth Care, a Three-
    year advanced diploma program at Seneca College 1750 Finch Ave. East Toronto
    Ontario, Canada. I applied as an international student and was issued an
    admission letter in this regard. The length of the program will start September 5,
    2023, and completion date April 17, 2026. Attached herewith are copies of the
    Letter of Offer and an official payment statement for my First Semester and
    supporting documents necessary for my request.

    I deemed it necessary to take this opportunity to avail study leave given by the
    Department of Education by the Rule XII of R.A 4670 or the Magna Carta for
    Teachers Particularly section 24. Stated that “study leave with more than one year
    may be permitted by the Secretary of Education Without Compensation” I also wish
    to apply for travel authority for my travel abroad for September 5, 2023, and will be
    away for three years.

    All my expenses shall be from my funds and no government fund shall be used
    during my study and the trip. I am confident that these studies will be for my
    professional growth. This child and Youth Care Program is a three-year advanced
    diploma program and it will be a great help for me as an educator in Calbayog City
    SPED Center for it will provide a full range of intervention, prevention and
    treatment strategies to facilitate a positive change for children, adolescents and
    families in need of emotional, social developmental or mental health support. In-
    depth training and education in behavioral theories, practices and a foundational
    understanding of assessment intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and
    activities with children and youth. In my absence, my duties will be undertaken by
    the assigned teacher and will be endorsed properly.
