    EDUC 195 - TEACHING INTERNHSIP

    Teaching internship is a stepping stone of every aspiring teachers, it is a way of getting
    experince working with elementary pupils and professional teachers who guide us throughout
    the field study. This internship gave us, the student teacher the opportunity to apply all the
    theories we have studied it also gave us authentic experience where we are given the
    opportunity to handle a classroom ,teach the students and interact with them as their teacher.

    I started handling students on February 15, 2023 and the the grade secrion that I handles
    is Grade 4 Supplement Special Education Services (SSES) which is also the respondents of
    our research study . We had a rotation of handling the sections, I was assigned to two Grade 4
    section and Grade 1 they are all sweet students and I never encounter any trouble handling
    them because we all had good relationship and respect is always observed. Aside from good
    relationship with the students I also build a positive relationship with other teachers and my
    cooperating teacher which is Mrs. Marilyn M. Viudez she is like a second mother to me who
    guode me in handling her children, she give me tips and assistance all throughout the teaching
    internship especially on my final teaching demonstation. She helps me a lot and gave her full
    support for the success of my teaching demonstation and thankfully I execute it properly.

    During my teaching internship I mostly handle Grade 4 SSES in the beginning of the day,
    Grade 4 mahusay after recess and Grade 1 SSES on the afternoon . Whenever there are
    programs or occasion in the school we also help in the preparation and throughout the program.
    Some of the program that we also included are Scouting, Teachers day, Fire drill, Earthquake
    drill and many more school activities. It is an awesome experience to us that gave us insight
    about other activities aside from teaching inside the classroom .

    Throughout my teaching internship I learned a lot of things and I become close to a lot
    people. One of the most precious that I got from that experience is I got to know the stories and
    personalities of the pupils I handled they have different behaviour and have uniques qualities
    and capabilities and I am proud that I became the instrument for their development. From that
    experience I learned that pupils has different behaviour and we have to give our best
    understanding to them beacuse they grew up in different environments. Sometimes we the
    teachers don't like their actions but from my experience I learned to always understand and
    have a long patience when it comes to students behavior. I learned a lot of things and I know
    that my knowledge now is needed more improvement as the saying that I always hear "teaching
    is a vocation" if I choose this path I need to put my heart and full dedication to this profession.
