CONTROL PROCEDURE
STEP 5: APP communicate with acft to issue information and appropriate instructions
Notes:
- All arrivals is instructed via STAR (Ex: SAPEN 1T) to hold at D14-Rxxx (Ex: D14-R182).
- Number 1: Is cleared to descend to altitude 3000ft (IAF2, IAF3) or 5000ft (TSH) for ILSy
APP RWY25R.
- Number 2 and the later: Is instructed to hold at levels (D14-Rxxx) from 4000 ft up to the
level appropriate to the approach sequence resppectively.
- Holding levels at D14-R182-295 should be from 8000 up in order to provive lateral
separation between departing and holding traffic. Vertical separation shall be maintain
between all holding pattern except D14-R182 and D14-R295 at the same level is acceptable.
- Do not allowed acft to hold at 3000 ft over IAF2 (from AC) and IAF3 (from BAOMY).
- Approach interval and EAT calculation:
3 minutes: IAF2, IAF3 before the others.
9 minutes: IAF2, IAF3 after the others.
7 minutes: Between all D14-Rxxx and each other.
- Revised EAT: A revises EAT shall be transmitted to the acft without delay, when the revision
is 5 minutes or more.
Example:
DLH774- IAF3 12:00 No delay exppected;
AFR178- Hold at D14- R182, EAT will be 12:03 (from SAPEN);
THA688- Hold at D14- R295, EAT will be 12:10 (from MISAN);
HVN384- Hold at IAF2, EAT will be 12:19 (from SAPEN);
- Aircraft is number 2 and later in sequence, the phraseologies may be like this:
