Minimum Requirements
Relevant experience in the political/media field, preferably at embassies,
media outlets, international/multilateral organisations, NGOs, or think tanks.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study – preferably Political Science,
International Relations, Development or Journalism.
Experience working with social media and targeted communication.
Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Essential computer skills, including MS Office.
Your standard working hours will be 37 hours per week with a large degree of
flexibility in organising your daily working hours.
You will be entitled to annual paid holiday as per legally binding labour
market rules of Egypt and the Embassy’s staff rules.
You will be offered reasonable coverage of sickness expenses.
Your salary will be within the Embassy’s salary policy, and will reflect your
qualifications and relevant experience. As part of your salary, you will be
covered by a workplace pension scheme.
This is a fixed-term contract for a period of two years with the possibility of
extension.
Selected candidates will be invited for a written test and interviews expected to take
place no later than the end of August. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
The chosen candidate must present a “No Criminal Record” and pass security
clearance by the Danish authorities prior to appointment. Expected start date as
soon as possible.
