    Test 1:

    Student A: You are a parents. Your children are all grown up & left home. Some live in other
    cities. Some lives overseas. They don't either visit your home or write to you. You are very
    sad. When a good neighbor (student B) asks you what has happened, you share your
    broblems, with him/ her and ask for advice. Listen to Student B and give proper responses.
    Student B: You are a good neighbor. You notice that A seems to have some problems. Ask A
    what the problems are and give proper advices. Remember to share you own viewpoint
    about what family means to its family members.

    B: How's it going? why you look so upset ?


    A: Yah. I have some problems with my children.
    B: What's problems? Are they naughty or did they do something wrong to you?
    A: My children are all grown up & left home but they don't either visit home or write to me.
    So I feel alone and self-pity.
    B: It is a common situation that every parents who have children can avoid. But it wouldn't
    be too bad if you thought more positively. And I have some advices that will probably make
    you feel better and easily to deal with that problem more easily.
    A: that would be great if you can make me feel better. what do you think about my children
    are grown up but they don't either visit home or write to me.
    B: First of all, your children don't either visit home or write to you. In my view, I think maybe
    they are very busy from their work. So sometime they will forget to visit or to talk with their
    parents. But if they forget it, then you just call them and ask for their reasons.
    A: Do you mean if they forget to visit home because they very busy from work or they have
    to do something, I will call them and talk about their lives recently?
    B. Yes, that really what I mean. Because, From my perspective, family is a place to return
    from the messy life out there and you can reply on them.
    A: I absolutely agree with you. And to me, Family is someone who is willing to be there all
    the time, no matter the situation, good or bad, they always be there when you need. Family
    means having someone to love you unconditionally in spite of your shortcomings. Family
    also is loving and supporting one another even when it’s not easy to do so.
    B: I couldn't agree with you more. Family is whoever I can depend on for support, to laugh
    with, to play with, and to share the challenges and rewards of life with. So let's think about
    this problems more positively, it will make you feel better. And that’s all what i can do for
    you.
    A: Thanks a lot for your advice. I really appreciate it. See you later, bye!
    B: Your welcome, Bye!
