Silent Danger: Violence Against Children
Child abuse is any act involving physical, psychological, or
sexual violence that is clearly capable of causing suffering to a
child. This includes acts such as hitting, verbal and emotional
abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and other forms of abuse.

Children raised with violence are more likely to become violent

adults and caregivers, creating a new generation of victims.

Rape victim : AG, 18 years old, has a disability.

Perpetrators of rape: 44 years JM (AG's father), 24 years SA (AG's older brother), and
16 years YF (AG's younger brother).

This case was revealed by 51 year old Tarseno, who is the Head of the Pekon
Panggunggrejo Community-Based Child Protection Task Force.
AG told everything that JM, SA, and YF had done to the psychologist innocently and
also did not realize that this was sexual violence.
The Child Protection Task Force is coordinating with the Pekon Head so that the
Sukoharjo Police will immediately send the Tekaf 308 team led by the Sukoharjo
Police Chief to immediately secure JM, SA, and YF.

JM, SA, and YF admitted that they took advantage of AG's condition, which had
mental limitations, and the following were the perpetrators' motives:
JM, made his biological daughter a place of outlet for sexual desires because his
wife had died. Do as much as 5 times.
SA, often watches porn on her cell phone. Do about 120 time
YF, SA often invites him to watch porn on his cell phone. Do it repeatedly.
Experiencing sexual deviation because he ever gave vent to his sexual desires
with a neighbor's animal.
Incest case in Lampung

This case shows that families that are supposed to look after, educate and give love
to siblings or children do not carry out their obligations, instead the family harms,
takes advantage of, even to the extent of violating the rights of his own
siblings or children.

There are many other cases of sexual violence within the family that are still
unresolved. Because the family is the first environment shown to children,
then the child might think that something like this is normal and reasonable.

?
Children are the new generation who will continue
the future of the Indonesian nation.
The future of the nation depends on what they get
when they are children. Knowledge acquired during
school and family, such as manners, is a provision for
the child in continuing the future of the Indonesian
nation.
Everyone must unite to protect and fight for
children's rights, because by protecting children's
rights, we are tantamount to creating a bright future
for the Indonesian people.
conclusion
No subject has the right to accept any form of violence,
especially children, they have the right to live comfortably,
peacefully and free from all forms of threats.
It is our duty to prevent all forms of violence and provide
assistance to those in need, those who are victims of violence
