Ques-1 : Tell me about your childhood and upbringing ?

I was born and raised in sholinghur, Tamilnadu. I belong to a middle class family where most of my
relatives where teachers that naturally had me grow a liking for studies. I have a twin brother. We
were never pampered. My parents always let me do my work on my own. They never asked my
grades, never interfered in anything. They made me take my own decisions and do what i wanted
to.

Ques-2 : Tell me about your studies and academics ? What kind of student are you in the class ?
I was always a bright student in my class. I always topped the class. I go 10 CGPA in class 10 and
95% in class 12 CBSE board exams. I qualified JEE mains and JEE ADVANCED with AIR 2969 .

Ques-3 : Why did you choose this field of study ? Any particular reason ?
I believed that engineering provided a basics of everything required for life. Although the branch
chosen was not my choice as it was allotted on the basis of AIR. Also i feel that during my Higher
secondary education i wasn’t aware of many other fields as i belonged to a village .

Ques-4 : What are the professional / corporate / vocational training or visits you did during your
degree ?
I did quite a few training and visits during the last three years. As a CE student, I have interest in
Buildings and hence I visited construction sites such Student Activity Centres, Auditorium, Lecture
Halls, Quarters. I did basic training on AutoCAD and STAAD PRO. I did some workshops also to
improve my communication and soft skills. I did whatever is required as per academic curriculum
and as per my interest to enhance my knowledge.

Ques-5 : Have you done any internship ? Any corporate exposure you have ?
I have done a internship at E-construct Pvt Ltd as an engineering student intern. I saw how the
corporate company runs and how the things we study and the practical life are very much different

My name is Amizhdhan A S . I am studying B.Tech in Civil engineering with M.Tech in Structural engineering
at IIT Bhubaneswar. I did my Higher secondary education in Velammal Bodhi campus , Ponneri. I studied in
Vidya peetam, Sholinghur till my 10th standard. For my B.Tech project i worked on waste water treatment by
algal Biochar and biomass using Spirulina sp. I have done an internship at E-construct Private limited where
worked on Site management of G+5 building using rivet and created a 3d rendered model using enscape. I
have also completed an internship with Verzeo on digital marketing. I have also been working as a chegg
expert , solving questions in chemistry. I have a fair knowledge about c++ programming. The softwares i am
aware of are rivet, enscape, autocad,staad pro .I have been awarded the student of the year twice in my
high school. I have been an individual athletic champion as well. I have won several award for my artworks .
I have also been successful in many debate competitions and many olympiads. I have professional
proficiency in English and tamil , working proficiency in hindi and very limited proficiency in Sanskrit.My
hobbies include sketching, working out , debating karate , abacus and numismatics.
