Annotation

Multiverse Team represents the RePack:

Arcanum Multiverse Edition v.1.4

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura — is the classic role-playing game from the
developers of the first two games in the Fallout lineup. The game is based on the story unfolding
around the tragedy of the blimp «Zephyr», the only survivor of which has to find his role in the
world of fading magic and technological progress. How much this role will affect the events in
the world of Arcanum, on the vastness of the feudal kingdoms and industrial megacity, on the
remote possessions of other races and a number of mysterious gods of forgotten places? That
should be solved by the protagonist, chained be the will of fate with the prophetic writings of a
certain «The Living One». Believe in them or not, trust yourself or your neighbor, personify
good, evil or chaos, remains at the player's choice.
In other words, Arcanum is a world of conflicting ideas, as well as their supporters and
opponents, full of allusions and elements of various artistic genres that weave together, gaining
identity, integrity, and their own unique charm.
Due to his style, replayability and a variety of options for the development of the character,
Arcanum enjoys recognition among connoisseurs of classical role-playing games and forever
remains in the hearts of many of them.
Arcanum Multiverse Edition is one of several projects in the lineup Another Arcanum. Why
the name of our project is «Another Arcanum»? The answer to this question lies in the idea of the
game rework until it will be ideal from our point of view. Working with graphics, layout of
locations, the balance of text and dialogue, we are gradually bringing Arcanum to the kind in
which he could see the light even in the distant 2001.
Similarly, the name of this line reflects the concept of the other two projects based on our
RePack. About them you can find information in the section «Other projects of Multiverse
Team».
RePack Features
 Multilanguage.
Preparing RePack we proceeded from the fact that all our fixes are compatible with both the
Russian and English versions of the game. Selecting a language does not affect the performance
of edits.
 Original cut-out graphics was integrated.
In the beta versions of Arcanum and the release version libraries, there was additional graphics
that were not included in the game. An example of such graphics are items, objects, NPC
animation and portraits for characters of different races and sexes.
 New items have been created based on the restored graphics.
Thus, we found the use of unused original content and were able to solve the problem of
identical appearance in different subjects.
 The properties of a number of objects and schemes for their assembly have been
refined.
For example, visual inconsistencies between diagrams and objects, as well as their technical
characteristics (use, ammunition consumption, etc.) were eliminated.
 Maps from Mapper's Mod integrated
We have eliminated many visual shortcomings in both the graphics and in the layout of
locations. The basis of the mod includes fixing the position of objects, creating missing textures,
working with lighting and much more. Detailed information can be found in the subject of the
project.
Also included is an expanded version of the mod, developed specially for the Sir's Expectations
Modpack project (for details see «Other projects Multiverse Team»).
 Integration of HQ-maps of locations.
In the corresponding locations observation window picture mode will be smoother.
This applies not only to the early version of the panoramas, we process them after all the changes
that are made to the layout of the locations.
 Some soundtracks were replaced.
Original cut-out ambient of the release version has been replaced by a more complete from the
beta-version.
 Original lossless music was integrated.
Tracks in lossless quality we personally handed us by the composer Ben Houge, so that the
quality of these tracks can be no doubt. Perhaps the owners of the integrated sound card and
standard speakers will not appreciate our efforts, but I hope that everyone else will like it.
 Partially modified gameplay.
Some edits and additions touched dialogue and scripted scenes, namely the relation of words and
NPC actions.
 Integrated Arcanum High Resolution Patch.
The latest version of the patch for high resolution includes a framework for the centered parts of
the interface and two options for the background of the main menu, hiding visual artifacts after
installing the patch.
 Selection of fixes from some third-party patches:
 1.0.7.5.
 Unofficial Arcanum Patch (aka UAP).
 Grand Fix (aka GF).
 alpha patch.
Also, work was done on independent search for problems and their solution for our own patch
Multiverse Patch.
 Configurator and launcher were created for easy compatibility settings with Windows
8, 8.1 и 10.
Configurator includes the following:
 Technical options for solving problems with the performance of the game.
 Options selection for which you previously needed to register keys in the properties of the
shortcut.
 Advanced game settings.
 Arcanum High Resolution Patch tuning.
 Optional autoupdate.
 Official Troika Games modules were integrated.
 Bonuses section issued.
In the folder with the installer you can find a lot of official materials — concept artwork made by
the developers, notes to the soundtrack, wallpapers, etc.
A detailed report on the above items is presented in the logs of changes and fixes included in the
documentation for the game (files Arcanum Multiverse Edition.rtf notes and Multiverse Patch
notes.rtf).
Another Projects
Arcanum Multiverse Edition — first project in Another Arcanum series. Two other projects
are based on our RePack and are fully compatible with it.
Sir's Expectations Modpack — modifying the content of the game add-on, which includes new
graphics, sound, music, as well as expanding the capabilities of gameplay. It also includes an
expanded version of Mapper's Mod, a globally redesigning location plan.
Arcanum: Legacy of Vendigroth — expansion for Sir's Expectations Modpack, supplementing
the game world with a separate story module Beatrice, whose events unfold in the kingdom of
Arland 30 years after the events of the original storyline.

Installer and Settings

 Integrated Arcanum High Resolution Patch 1.5.


 Integrated base version of Interface Mod (corrections only).
 Integrated Arcanum universal level cap remover v0.0.1 (optional increasing in the limit of
received points up to the 100th level).
 Integrated Boarded-up Windows Fix (correcting the display of boarded up windows).
 The logo of the configurator now has two versions of the logo which will vary depending on
the version of the game (with or without ModPack).
 Utilities DXWnd or Wine D3D were replaced by the wrapper DDrawCompat (a new solution
for compatibility with Windows 8 and 10).
 The default difficulty level is changed from Easy to Medium.
 The default frequency of pop-up info is changed from Never to Verbose.
Gameplay

 Integrated AME Backgrounds.


Pack includes 22 new backgrounds for main character:
 8 from Multiverse Team.
 6 from the contestants of our public.
 8 written by Chris Beddoes and adapted for RePack (balance review and Russian
translation).
 The effect of the aging of the character (relative to playing time) [ATR].
 The age of quest NPCs and NPC-followers is partially worked out (changing of the default
age).
 Now, for the owners of all standard portraits racial icons will be displayed.
 Changed coordinates of the appearance of the protagonist or his party in some locations.
 Considered the mutual defense of some NPCs who previously ignored the attack on other
NPCs standing nearby.
 The position of some NPCs has been adjusted (where they stand and where they look).
 Corrected the position of some hidden mobs in relation to the objects behind which they hide
(ore golems behind trolleys, skeletons in bushes, etc.).
 Sogg Mead Mug now protects the visitors of the bar, if he is not in the protagonist.
 The problems in the scene with Magnus and Torian Kel are eliminated:
 Magnus's appeal to the protagonist now works right away, and not with the secondary
joining of Torian Kel.
 In the dialogue with Magnus added missing «stupid» replicas of the protagonist.
 The problem of the absence of a return from the dialogue of Magnus to the dialogue of
Torian was solved.
 One of the text replicas of Loghaire (in Tarant) now corresponds to the voice acting.
 One of the possible options in the dialogue with the spirit of Charles Brehgo is now available
even with a second appeal.
 Fixed the need to re-apply to Ristezze and Gaylin to gain access to more important branches
of the dialog (with quests, for example).
 Restored unrealized replicas of Dante after a dialogue with King Praetor.
 Fixed the error of assigning several phrases in the dialogue with King Praetor, accompanying
the beginning of the battle.
 Fixed nondisplayable replica by Cedric Appleby when re-entering the quest.
 Fixed a problem with the questioning of rumors from one of the guardians of Ashbury
prison.
 Added a missing replica in the dialogue with Edward Teach, when the decision to leave Isle
of Despair was the only way out of the dialogue.
 Excluded error in K'an Hua dialogue during which the protagonist could agree to take a
minor quest, which was not spoken about.
 The eye of the Kraka-tur is now correctly removed from the inventory according to one of
the dialogue options.
 The spirit and corpse of Simon Fahrkus no longer disappear after time (similar to Charles
Brehgo in the same quest).
 The killing of the gnome agent of the Molochean Hand, located within the Shrouded Hills, is
now punishable by guards.
 Dante no longer returns to the Black Root in spite of his quest situation.
 The scripted mechanics of Theodor's reaction to the putting on of his quest item was
improved: the problem was solved when putting an object on the street when a standard
dialogue with the loop was started and a distance was set for starting the dialogue.
 Improved the script chain on the quests of the Witt family:
 Fixed a bug that caused the scripted chain to a dead end (impossibility to end the quest in
the expected manner).
 One of the script scenes of the Witt family is now activated at a certain stage of the quest
situation, not immediately after the end of the quest (the dialogue is extended
accordingly).
 Fixed a script bug in the logic of NPC from the Elven Ruins:
 Solved the problem of missing recycling in one of the NPC scripts.
 Exit from the burial will be blocked now in one of the quest situations.
 NPCs of this location now pronounce replicas in both locations.
 Halflings in the Thieves Cave are now acting just like their leader.
 The characteristics of many NPCs have been revised (especially with the 1st level), and
suitable development schemes have been added.
 Bogaroth is assigned a level scheme. A fighter- dodge, and the level is raised from the 20 to
the 40th.
 The agent at the bridge in the Shrouded Hills now corresponds to its characteristics in both
places of its appearance.
 One of the Mechanized Arachnids in Tarant has assigned a previously inactive "Mechanical"
flag (affects the possibility of using magic and magical items for this purpose).
 The Guardian of Tarantian telegraph was assigned the flag "No Flee" (ban on panic during
the battle).
 Many new items were distributed between NPCs in the Shrouded Hills, Black Root and
Tarant.
 Now traders buy the same items they sell, except of some small things.
 The goods assortment of inventor in the Black Root is now being renewed.
 Noise Maker Decoy now works properly and is put on sale to inventors.
 Technological items in the Panarii temple (Shrouded Hills) were moved from the commode
to the barrel, and the Pilgrim's Robes was taken from the bedside table to the commode.
 Storage crate can be found now in Grunwalde’s house.
 Amulet of Leadership Amulet of Leadership, previously unused, is now owned by Gideon
Laier.
 Introduced the book "Lethe Wyvern" from the original resources of the game, previously
unused by the developers.
 Now, when reading a note from the Crash Site, a corresponding entry is added to the log.
 The Fort on Isle of Despair is now called A Penal Colony, and not the Isle of Despair (the
name of the mark on the world map has been changed).
 Realized opportunity to leave the Half Ogre Island in an independent way in case of the ship
captain death (with the automatic transfer of the ship).
 Fixed a logical discrepancy in the dialogue with Hippington about the Stillwater Giant.
Mapper's Mod

 A lot of changes made in previous versions of the mod.


 Locally solved the problem of running around objects, projections of walls and facades, by
adding more blocks.
 Removed a number of extra blocks within the interiors and decorations.
 The position of some blocks relative to objects has been adjusted.
 Corrected the position of some objects relative to walls, facades, and other objects.
 Added 17 previously not included objects from the original art library:
 4th option of the blacksmith's desk (Black Root, Ashbury, Tarant, Shrouded Hills).
 1 set of stones (Ashbury).
 2 dwarfs mechanisms (the smithy and the workshop of the inventor in the Wheel Clan).
 1 tree и 1 herb (Vendigroth Ruins and A Penal Colony).
 1 tent и 1 boiler (Bane’s lair in the Void).
 1 campfire (Kraka-tur’s lair in the Void).
 Improved sprites of a number of objects:
 The missing pixels are recovered (in areas where ground and wall textures were visible).
 The colors of some sprites now correspond to the colors of the original decorations (from
which these objects were created).
 Discrepancies between types of objects and interior styles were eliminated: some objects
were transferred from stores to owner's rooms (and vice versa). Some of the objects were
replaced with more suitable options.
 Added elements that smooth the junction between two types of walls (used in the crematory
of Ashbury).
 The sign of the shop " Side Arms and Saltpeter" (Ashbury) no longer has a unique light
texture, and is taken from the main set of this sign.
 Added a new vegetation, previously excluded from the lining of roads (in the original
version, bushes can be found in the middle of roads, in ours — only on the roadside).
 Arranged missing masts on ships (obscuring objects over facades).
 Several additional boulders were added to the space of impenetrable areas of the Ancient
Maze.
 Excluded artifacts in the form of a slice of parts of objects during vertical scrolling: the
airship screw on the Crash Site and the statue in Vendigroth Ruins.
 The laboratory accessory and small engine are now located on the tables, not on the floor
(using duplicate artefacts with different coordinates).
 The shelves of the herbalists in the houses of the small owners (dwarfs, halflings) are now
located below the original position.
 Excluded 22 repeated epitaphs, and new ones introduced: 6 original ones, not previously
used by developers, and 16 new ones written by us.
 Fire on the Crash Site now go out after time has elapsed.
 The missing textures for the facades were created:
 Ruined castle — 4 tiles.
 Throne platforms — 3 options in relation to three different floor coverings of interiors.
 Carpets of underground interiors — 2 options in accordance with the previous paragraph.
 Now all additional fragments of mountains are facades, not objects (included in the number
of arts of mountains).
 Implemented the effect of seamless texture in the previously unaccounted facade of the
mountains.
 The facades of railway tunnels now correspond to the facades of the mountains (seamless
textures).
 Fixed several shortcomings in the design of the railway tracks (corrections in the facades and
layout of locations).
 Part of the fragments of the facades has been transferred to objects, so that they do not fall on
the shadow of below-standing objects.
 The facade in the Gilbert Bates’ bedroom has been refined (visual defects of the previous
version have been removed).
 Textures of stone (city) facing at one of the facades of the castle of Kergan are excluded.
 Corrected the position of some carpets against the walls.
 Added 2 new tiles for the facade of the city bridge (one missing, the other for smoothing the
boundary between the ground textures).
 Restored one missing tile in the facade of T'sen-Ang (previously used tile of floorboards).
 Corrections to the layout of the walls:
 Restored cut sections of walls in previously unaccounted places.
 Previous fixing of the effect of missing parts of the walls when you see buildings from
the outside now eliminates the need for patch-objects.
 A number of cosmetic corrections are made in a combination of wall textures.
 In a number of locations, the effect of opaque wall fragments was excluded.
 Fixed shortcomings in the textures of 2 types of buildings — Beige Stone and Victorian-
Dark Interior.
 The effect of blue pixels on one of the fragments of the structure Red Wood Shack was
eliminated.
 Two types of fireplaces applied in Wheel Clan, also used in the planning of other dwarven
interiors.
 Two previously not applicable wall elements were used from the original art library (2 types
of dwarven brazier in Stonecutter Clan).
 The position of several doors in urban and rural types of houses (interiors and exteriors) has
been adjusted.
 Added technological emblems over the entrance doors of the dwarven technological
buildings (Black Mountain Clan).
 Technology emblem removed from the front door of the Wheel Clan Hotel.
 The door to the dwarf- herbalist room in the Wheel Clan is now locked for a day and has a
difficulty level of the lock.
 The door to the dwarf-inventor's room in the Wheel Clan are assigned to the respective
owner (the reaction of the NPC to the interaction with the door).
 The windows and doors of the ticket offices in Tarant are now locked and have a difficulty
level of the lock.
 Doors and windows of some houses are now locked at night.
 Interaction with windows on the second floor of the Bates mansion was excluded (you
cannot climb out of the walls where the black background is).
 The locked door in the house of Pollock (Boil, Tarant) is no longer opened by the nearby
NPCs.
 Globally adjusted color, radius and angle of lighting.
 Objects that were previously not sources of light are now linked to the appropriate lighting.
 The position of the light sources relative to the objects (lights on the lamps, etc.) has been
adjusted.
 The light no longer goes to the streets from under the face of the walls, if there are no
windows in the radius of illumination (for example, posters outside will no longer be
highlighted).
 The effect of vertical lighting boundaries has been eliminated in some places.
 Corrected lighting in relation to some objects and their shadows (less contrasting shadows).
 The problem of exterior lighting of several objects in the interiors of houses (objects did not
take into account the shadow of illumination) was eliminated.
 Added lighting in the Qintarra royal chambers, highlighting previously inaccessible parts.
 All HQ panoramas of locations are regenerated in accordance with the above changes.
Official Modules

 Integrated previously not included module Dusty Dunes.


 Corrections in the side quest in module Dusty Dunes:
 Fixed a bug with the invisibility of the branch in the dialogue with the dog when ending
the quest.
 Fixed bug with automatic restart of the dialogue with the dog after the end of the quest.
 The possibility of returning to the bottom of the well is realized if the child was left there.
 The correct failure of the quest at the death of the child was realized.
 An earlier locations version of the module Dusty Dunes, that was not used by the module
(a duplicate with flaws) was excluded.
 Module Deathmatch now has a working ending (solved the problem of an infinite recycling
of fights in the arena).
 In module Lost Dungeon of Souls, a vulnerability has been eliminated that prevents the
activation of the script at the end of the game.

Installer and Settings

 Added the ability to launch the game with Enter.


 Implemented optional disabling of developer, publisher and menu videos when lunching the
game.
 Creating of new spells now provides the ability to assign new icons [ATR].
Gameplay

 Background story «Escaped Lunatic» was changed: resistance to damage, fire, electricity and
poison decreased from +25% to +15% [ATR].
 Dialogs with Jongle Dunne, Theodor, Brigitte, Marley, Thrayne Iron Heart and Erland now
imply possibility of getting corresponding quests for characters with Intelligence 4 or less.
 Now in the dialogue with constable Owens quest ring is described, and not shown, if it is not
in the inventory.
 Completion of the constable Owens’ quest will now be different if the quest was completed
before this quest was taken.
 Theodor now reacts on his quest item out from standard dialogue if he sees that item worn by
protagonist or by one of his followers.
 Lorham now will react on the attempt of sneaking to the Edward Willoughsby’s bedroom.
 There is no more possibility to ask Randver Thunder Stone about the place where his father
is, if this place is already known by protagonist.
 Cynthia Boggs now leaves the Ashbury docks on her return from the Isle of Despair.
 Erick Obsidian’s level increased from 1 to 16th.
 Kite Shaman’s Strength increased to 3 to meet the requirements of using Kite Sword.
 Kite Shaman’s model from the Crash Site now has standard size.
 Parnell before meeting with him now is called a Citizen, not a Shopkeeper;
 Now all the inhabitants of Tulla spend the night in their homes.
 The vulnerability in the logical chain of NPCs at the Elven Ruins location has been
eliminated.
 Introduced and assigned names for NPC adventurers (Half Elf Adventurer, Gnome
Adventurer, etc.).
 Accordingly replaced NPC names of the Jyheirads’ group.
 Air Elemental now normally deals damage.
 Fixed a bug in which the Air Elemental used spells from Conveyance school of magick
instead of the Air school spells.
 Air Elemental now refers to the faction of monsters, like all other elementals.
 Now all elementals use 3 first spells of the schools they belong to.
 Evil Tempest now use spells of the Air school, not Fire.
 Items that previously laid under the chests now lay inside them.
 Average price of Scroll of Divine Magic decreased from 3000 to 150 coins.
 Because of the absence of any magic effect, Guard Chainmail now have no more 5% magic
attitude.
 Taxes of Black Root now kept in the chest that can be opened with a key (dialog was
extended in appropriate way).
 Now in Pyrotechnic Axe description there is information about fire damage.
 Charged Axe schematic was added to the sale to elite smiths.
 Characteristics of the Machined Platemail in three sizes were revised to suit the balance.
 Charged Accelerator Gun now uses 1 bullet for standard damage and 1 battery for additional
electrical damage.
 Description of Damage Resistance (DR) for Creep Armor now corresponds to its actual
value.
 The properties of the Great Helm now correspond to the properties of the Helmet of Vision,
which is assembled from it.
 For Nature's Wrath Helm penalty to Perception was removed (as an alternative to Helmet of
Vision).
 Large Oiled Thieves Leather now looks like a big, not a small one.
 For a neutral Horned Helmet the magickal Armor Class was removed (total AC now equals
10, not 20).
 The properties of a number of objects have been changed (the signboard of city hall in the
Shrouded Hills is highlighted, the placed crystal ball is displayed on the stand, etc.).
 A signboard «Herbalist» on Geylin’s house replaced by «Gaylins' Herbs».
Mapper's Mod

 The flooring in Gaylin’s house has been changed from exterior to interior option (correcting
lighting).
 «Mechanic's Yacht» signboard was added to the inventor’s shop in Black Root.
 Corrective changes in the layout of the bedroom of Gilbert Bates.
 The effect of blue pixels in the layout of the outer walls of Tulla was eliminated.
 Large-scale corrections in the design of the K'na Tha location.
 Signboards of shops will no longer fall without sheds and placed no higher than the walls.
 Boarded up windows no longer fall through the walls of rural buildings.
 New type of signboard for junkman’s shop added. [Removed]
 Ristezze signboard was changed from general store type to junkman type. [Removed]
 The problem of uneven position of walls in the planning of one of the rural buildings has
been eliminated.
 Cosmetic editions in the layout of some locations.
 Caladon's HQ-map was extended to 1 sector.

Installer and Settings

 Implemented an optional sound tripping in the configurator.


 Fuel now is used by special script [ATR].
Gameplay

 In Initial Stats window maximum possible number of followers is displayed now [ATR].
 Maximum of possible poison intoxication was changed from 1000 to 999 for correct view in
interface [ATR].
 Horace McGinley or player-created half-elf character will now have elf body, which will
correspond to other NPC of this race.
 Information about meeting place with Vollinger now recorded to the journal.
 Cursed spirit of Simon Fahrkus will no longer disappears after completing dialogue with him
(dialogue was updated and expanded).
 At the entrance to the hotel in Shrouded Hills you can meet a beggar, whose dialogue was
listed in the archives of the game, but was not used;
 By doing quest Doc Roberts’ quest, he’ll be the first to refer to the protagonist for the award
and then he’ll return to his office.
 Owner of General Store in Shrouded Hills now has a name Slim Pickens.

 The priest from the Panarii temple in Tarant no longer gives an infinite number of pamphlets.
 Fixed an error in the dialogue with the citizens of Tarant, leading to an endless praise and an
increase in the Alignment.
 Fixed defects in the line of quests with Garrik Stout, Edkin Chambers and Lady Druella.
 Maug Maulman from T’sen-Ang does not cry anymore "Huh! Free-dum!" instead of asking
to release ogres.
 Missing line in dialogue when you play the recording on the ancient device of the Iron Clan
was added.
 Fixed an issue in dialogue with the Roseboro seller.
 Witt’s family quest was modified: in accordance with the dialogue, the father closes his
daughter in the room until a lycanthropy cure will be found, and releases her upon successful
completion of the quest.
 Elder Joachim’s entering the dialog is no longer possible to skip using fast moving through
his dialog with Virgil (dialog was extended appropriately).
 Willoughsby no longer provides endless amounts of money for the ending of a quest in
Caladon.
 Terry Torpik’s phrases in verbal sparring with L.N. Renford were involved (quest with
beans, Caladon).
 Weldo Rubin now asks for up to 500 coins for Vendigroth coordinates.
 Fixed a problem in dialogue with Temporal Master in Tulla with the request to tell about the
school.
 Conversation with Nasrudin on the Thanatos can no longer break off and start again the next
time.
 Now it is possible not to return Kraka-tur’s eye, but crush it in front of him. This action
causes Kraka-tur’s anger.
 Dead NPCs from the Crash Site now don't fall down when the game starts.
 Now merchants attack protagonist if he enters their bedroom.
 Gaylin goes to bed at night and did not disappear completely, followed by the appearance
after scrolling game time.
 Jacob Banks no longer spends every night at the bar of the hotel Shrouded Hills. He prefers
to choose one of its rooms.
 Now official at Tarant’s City Hall Tarant can catch the protagonist attempting breaking his
bedroom or burglary safe.
 Willoughsby now returns to the Tarant at the end of a Caladonian political quest.
 Topographers from Tarant now leave Falcon's Ache if the quest was completed bloodless.
 Jailed in Caladon prison no longer come out of their cells (the doors to their cells were shut).
 Theodore goes to the bar after finishing the quest with the Mechanized Armor.
 Participants of the meeting in the Ashbury City Hall now all disperse and disappear at the
end of the quest.
 Cyrus the Wizard from Still Waters returns to his house after his release and removes stains
of blood.
 Dwarves of the Dredge (Wheel Clan) leave their staying if the problem with the family of
Crystal spiders will be solved.
 Now Cynthia Boggs will return back to the group after left her wait for a long time or after
being kicked out of the group (dialogue was updated and expanded).
 Hostile Will-o-the-Wisp in the Ashbury cemetery became peaceful.
 Raven’s model after conversion into a water elemental no longer turns to a male model.
 All mechanical companions were refined. Previously they worked incorrectly.
 For the sake of game balance, Worthless Mutt’s features were weakened.
 Virgil and Vollinger now maintain their characteristics and equipment, regardless of their
quest dislocation.
 Vollinger and Sebastian are now experts in the skill of firearms.
 Torian Kel is now an expert Melee and Dodge.
 Innkeepers' level of the hotel in Shrouded Hills was increased from 1 to 6.
 Guard’s level near The Wellington Gentlemen's Club was decreased from 32-nd to 23-rd,
and his name now is the Doorman.
 Madame Toussaude’s level was increased from 1 to 12-th.
 Kendrick Wales’ level was increased from 1 to 15-th.
 The list of names of all the chests and furniture in Arcanum module has been extended and
no longer has the non-conformities.
 Five unrealized arts from Tulla were recovered:
 Magister's bed and bedding.
 Magister's secretaire.
 Round stone table.
 Stone table.
 The missing frames for the sleep animation for beds in this set have been implemented.
 The corresponding replacement of objects in the interiors of Tulla was done.
 After repairing steam engine and the control unit in Shrouded Hills, these devices restore
their original holistic view.
 Empty interiors of houses on the outskirts of Tarant were filled.
 Signboard of the bar in Boyle now is highlighted on mouse over.
 Extended area on which a protection Automaton is activated (scientist' basement in
Ashbury).
 Ambient music on the Drog Black Tooth’ footprint was extended till the entrance of his cave.
 Exits from M’in Gorad’s house and Vollinger’s cellar now are blocked during battle.
 Lemon trees and potato tubers are now created one fruit per day in case of their absence.
 Torches are lit outside houses only at night.
 In the inventory parameters of grenades and improvised therapeutic substances are now
displayed.
 Electric and pyrotechnic weapons are now excluded zero damage in case of absence of
charges/fuel and cause standard damage.
 Flow Specktrometer is now working properly if charges present.
 Pyrotechnic Axe now deals fire damage in the presence of fuel or standard damage in the
absence of fuel.
 Hushed Revolver, Hand Crafted Hushed Revolver (not used in original module), and
Tranquilizer Gun are really silent now (decreases the risk to be heard).
 Fixed Shadow Shield — now it works as described in the effects [ATR].
 Bow of Damage now has a Damage spell.
 Oiled Chainmail and Small Oiled Chainmail now have equal price.
 Dark Barbarian Clothes and Small Dark Barbarian Clothes are now neutral items and have
no -5 Technology aptitude.
 Basic Machined Plate from Theodors' quest renamed to Theodore's Machine Plate.
 Machined Platemail, Small Machined Platemail and Big Machined Platemail now increases
Strength (+3), as it is mentioned in the schematic.
 Chapeau of Magnetic Inversion now improves dodging from bullets and arrows and
increases resistance to damage by 20 [ATR].
 Dragon Cologne and Morning Star Perfume will now give a bonus to the Beauty (depending
on character’s sex) [ATR].
 During examination of the Amulet of the Molochean Hand, corresponding entry is added to
the log (original text, which wasn’t realized in the game before).
 Now stand with Stillwater Giant automatically changes depending on the presence of
scarecrow inside or absence.
 Fixed a problem with early access to the Blade of Xerxes, which causes logical
inconsistencies.
 Dragon's Blood can now resurrect Torian Kel.
 Potion to Heal the Blind can no longer be used by accident.
 NPC inventories were thoroughly revised: now all dressed NPC have clothing and shoes.

 Restored unused in game art of Fine Revolver — now it does not look like a Quality

 Electrical Component and Small Electrical Parts now have their own arts.
 Ginka Root and Kadura Stem arts were swapped (roots should be brown and stems should be
green).
 Vendigroth Newspaper now has appropriate art.
 Solved problem of discrepancy between the art of the Healing Robe schematic and the
created item from this schematic. These are now two different schematics and two different
items. The first one will be available during studying of technical discipline, the second will
be on sale.
Healing Robe now can be created in two sizes, Regenerative Leather can be created in three
sizes.
Possible options:
 Small Healing Robe + Small Leather Armour = Small Regenerative Leather.
 Healing Robe + Leather Armour = Regenerative Leather.
 Healing Robe + Big Leather Armour = Big Regenerative Leather.
 There is no possibility to create Regenerative Leather in other way.
 The images of schemes Feather-Weight Chain, Droch's Warbringer, and Helmet of Vision
were replaced. Now they correspond to objects in the inventory [ATR].
 Wheel Clan Spectacles reclassified as Smiting.
 Arrows schematic was implemented and added to the shops.
 Introduced a new component for Arrows production — Wood.
 Machined Platemail schematic was fixed. Now the correct armor is manufactured with
appropriate dimensions.
 Sword, Quality Iron Shield and Fine Helmet used by barbarians of Cree have been replaced
with Horned Helmet and Barbarian's Heavy Blade.
 Axes of Dernholm knights were replaced by Quality Broadswords, Stout was issued
Flamberge.
 Killer hired by Thom Grak now has a weapon.
 Bandits from the Isle of Despair which attack Captain Edward Teach are now armed.
 In accordance with Franklin Payne’s technological tendency and his portrait, Mithril
Chainmail was put in the trunk and replaced with a Nice Suit.
 Now all elite caladonian guards wear Caladon Elite Guard Chainmail instead of the usual.
 Quality Swords used by caladonian guards were replaced to Caladon Elite Swords.
 Flintlock Pistol, Hunting Rifle and Bullets are no longer available in common blacksmith’s
assortment.
 Technological items were excluded from the range of magic blacksmith’s products.
 Small Barbarian Clothes got a smaller version art and were included in the range of
blacksmiths goods.
 Oiled Thieves Leather in magick stores replaced by Magick Leather Armour (sizes taken into
account).
 Quality Robes was added to the clothing store.
 Crash Site Camera and Bessie Toone's Boot no longer available in an assortment of
Ristezze’s goods.
 Hieronymous Maxim now has no Mechanized Gun in his inventory.
Mapper's Mod

 Willoughsby Office is now arranged well: a safe, archive and chair for the visitors appeared,
and the door to the office is locked during the absence of the owner.
 Fixed problem of color pixels artifacts on rooftops, walls and around some objects
(processed arts).
 There will be no more missing parts of the walls under buildings’ roofs (new objects added).
 Restored carved parts of the walls on the corners of some buildings (new objects added).
 Changes in the locations layout, which improves the overall appearance of exits (ratio of
objects and walls).
 The right side of the wooden bridges no longer has a straight cut and corresponds to the left
side (23 new tile-facades added).
 Shaded rectangular tiles around the facade of the Pits (Isle of Despair).
 Fixes in the planning of the mountains on the locations (fixed facade designs).
 The fireplaces' lights were evenly layered on the corresponding parts of the walls.
 Lighting was globally revised: the light is no longer goes to the outside of the walls.
 The effect of vertical lighting boundaries has been partially eliminated.
 Globally adjusted color, radius and lighting angle.
 Fixed a bug where some townmaps were generated without light Lighting Dungeon
 Other fixes and changes in above locations plans.
 HQ-panoramas were newly generated and now fully correspond to the changes introduced by
the modification.

 Fixed bug with Charmed Sword and Revolver non-extradition after completion Doc Roberts’
quest by character with Intelligence 4 or less.
 Fixed bug with invisible line in the dialogue with Maxim, which is responsible for the script
with Mechanized Gun reception.
 Fixed a shortcoming in the dialogue with the Seller of Roseborough general store.
 Fixed bug with Tarants’ tailor wrong scripts;
 Fixed bug with possibility of using Bingham’s help after Misk grave digging;
 Fixed bugs with possibility of entering Tulla without using an arch and possibility of
repeated visiting of Fa'al Kin's Maze after quest completion.

 Starting coordinates in Tarant now moved after the bridge (from west side of the bridge to
