The learner will be able to
understand and appreciate the
century Philippine literature from
the regions.
The learner will be able to understand key concepts of functions.
The learner will be able to accurately construct mathematical models to represent real-life
situations using functions.

Set
Graph
We can identify if the given graph is a function by using “Vertical Line Test”
If each vertical line intersects the graph at only one point: This indicates that for each x-coordinate (input value),
there is only one corresponding y-coordinate (output value). In this case, the graph satisfies the vertical line test,
If any vertical line intersects the graph at more than one point: This indicates that there is at least one x-value
that corresponds to multiple y-values, meaning it fails the vertical line test. In this case, the graph does not
represent a mathematical function.
Groupings : Function or Not?
The teacher will divide the students into four groups. Within each group, students will
collaboratively construct a set by gathering the first letter of each group member's name and
the number of people in their respective households. Once the set is created, they will work
together to determine whether the set represents a function or not based on the principles
E. Application we've discussed. Finally, each group will present their constructed set and their reasoning to
the class, fostering discussion and a deeper understanding of relations and functions.
