▼ Features of tapered pipe screws (JIS B 0203)

These screws are mainly used to ensure tightness in the threaded parts of pipes, pipe components and fluid equipment. The screw is shaped like a
figure of eight with an angle of about 3.6 degrees from the tip of the screw to the end of the screw, with the tip of the screw being the thinnest and
the end of the screw being the thickest. As you tighten the screw, the threads gradually intersect with those of the mating threads, and when the
final torque is applied, the threads interlock with each other to close the gap between the inside and outside of the pipe, ensuring an airtight seal.
