    in JMG Scale I, MMG Scale II and MMG Scale III fulfilling the conditions as per the annexure

    The eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions of the option scheme for
    releasing to main stream cadre (general banking) is enclosed as Annexure to this
    Internal Communication.

    HOW TO APPLY

    The Officials desirous of converting from specialist to main stream cadre (generalist)
    and satisfying the eligibility criteria as per the Annexure enclosed to this Internal
    Communication may submit their option through HRMS Package only and applications
    received through any other mode shall not be accepted. The option for submitting
    application will be enabled in HRMS “Self Service  Willingness for Conversion” on
    22.11.2023. The last date for submission of completed application through HRMS

    Notwithstanding the contents of this Internal Communication, release of specialist


    officials to main stream cadre (general banking), postings or any other matter

    incidental thereto, shall be at the sole discretion of the Bank and is subject to

    administrative exigencies and the same cannot be claimed as a matter of right.

    ANNEXURE
    OPTION SCHEME FOR RELEASE OF SPECIALIST OFFICIALS TO MAIN STREAM
    CADRE (GENERAL BANKING)
    I. ELIGIBILITY:

    1. Specialist Officers in JMG Scale I, MMG Scale II & MMG Scale III as per the
    categories mentioned in the Internal Communication.

    2. Minimum active service in the Bank as on 31.03.2024 – 5 years

    II. GENERAL GUIDELINES:

    1. The Bank reserves the right to consider / reject the option exercised by the

    specialist officials on account of administrative exigencies keeping in view
    the availability of suitable substitutes for smooth functioning of the

    Verticals / Wings.
    2. The release from specialist officials to main stream cadre (generalist) shall

    be based on seniority to the extent of substitutes available in a particular


    specialization.

    3. Conversion from specialist cadre to generalist cadre shall be irreversible.

    4. Upon conversion to main stream cadre, they are liable to be posted to field
    operations anywhere in India including Rural / Semi Urban Branches for a

    minimum tenure of 2 years.
