    Dear Ma’am,

    After the recently concluded Synchronized Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan


    Elections last October 30 2023, newly elected Sangguniang Kabataan Officials shall
    immediately assume after proclamation and oath-taking.

    The SK Officials and the Members of LYDC are required to undergo the mandatory
    training program before they can assume office, in consonance with Section 28 of Republic
    Act (RA) No. 10742, otherwise known as the SK Reform Act of 2015, as amended by RA
    No. 11768.

    Furthermore, DILG MC No. 2023-156 dated October 24, 2023 approved the NYC
    Modified Guidelines on the Conduct of the Mandatory Training for Sangguniang Kabataan
    Officials and LYDC Members which states;

    "9.6 If the SK Official or LYDC Members is currently enrolled in any school during the
    conduct of the Mandatory Training, they may be excused from attending their regular
    classes. The training management team shall assist concerned SK officials or LYDC
    members by notifying their school.

    9.1 Deliberate failure to attend the Mandatory Training shall constitute sufficient
    ground to disqualify the concerned Sangguniang Kabataan official or LYDC member
    or subject them to disciplinary actions, pursuant to Section 27. Chapter V of RA No.
    10742."

    In light of the above legal provisions, may we kindly request that the following
    students listed hereunder be excused from their classes to attend the SK Mandatory
    Training at Manito Central School:
