I don’t really have time to look at my cell phone but if I do, I don’t want to waste my time
looking at it all day. Absolutely I am worried about my health. There are so many potential risks
from using too much technology, such as poor eyesight, which you can easily realize, or some
kinds of mental issues like depressions, anxiety...

3. What do you do to stay healthy?
Try not to sit for too long in front of computers, maintain good posture. Normally after about 20
minutes I’ll stand up and go around for a while before getting back to my work.

1. Can you think of medicines that have come from animals and plants?
Of course, I do think that drugs, medicines can come from plants and animals. Animals and
plants – based medicines are being used by about 80% population of the world. There are some
essential medicines powered by plants and animals like caffein, aspirin, morphine, heparin,
gelatin which are mostly used for the gel capsules.
2. Do you think it is important to study medicines made from plants and animals?
Obviously, it is essential to study … As we all know there are so many potential possibilities to
cure disease using plants and animals. Caffein, aspirin, gelatin, they mostly come from plants
and animals, so there may be more chances to find a new cure from them.
3. Why is the discovery of using honey important for medicine?
Technically, honey is good for human beings. This wonderful natural substance can reduce stress
and anxiety and it has so many other uses. I believe that we can find out more about what honey
can do or how it plays its role in the medical field in the future.

1. What do you enjoy in group discussions?
I don’t really like group discussions for some reasons, but I must admit that it brings me some
benefits. I do enjoy hearing people speaking about their opinions and how they think about the
problems. I can learn more new ideas from it.
2. What factors make a group discussion difficult to participate in?
I am not that type that saying too much, I prefer listening. So I find it hard to speak my mind
while the others are so engrossed in their speech. From my point of view, that must be the most
difficult time to participate in a group discussion.
3. What qualities are important in a group leader?
The group leader must be the one to gather the teammates and lead them to the end of the road.
So they, the leaders, should possess effective communication, problem solving, and decision-
making abilities. I think these some of the most important qualities being a group leader.

1. When was the last time you came down with an illness?
I think it must be right now. I’m dealing with an allergy to weather. I always have a running nose
and red eyes; I sometimes sneeze too.
2. How often do you go for a check-up?
Technically, I should go for a check-up twice or once a year. But I don’t. I think some teenagers
and young people are the same. Yes, obviously they, the doctors and elder people recommend us
should go to the hospital to have a check-up. They have their reasons, I know so, I’ll try to listen
to the predecessors.
3. What's the best way to treat a cold?
Every time I get a cold, I usually take medicines which I have prepared from the last time I got
into it. After that, I will try to do more exercise to release the sweat. Then, a plain meal will help
reduce the cold. And most importantly, I must drink much water.

1. What do you think is a valid excuse for staying home?
Personally, throwing up or diarrhea must be the best way for staying home. Like, everyone will
at least one time get into these kinds of situations. So, they will understand how uncomfortable
and inconvenient they are. Not all bosses have the empathy to let you stay at home when you’re
feeling down. But when you get into the health issues, no one could be so cruel to make you go
to work.
2. Why is it important to vary your diet?
Because different foods provide different types and amounts of key nutrients, it is important to
choose a variety of foods from within each food group. As a bonus, choosing a variety of foods
will help to make your meals interesting, so that you don't get bored with your diet.
3. Are there any diseases you think we will never fully eliminate?
I think that infectious diseases will never fully be eliminated. We obviously cure them, but they
can infect other people. Common cold, or recently, the Covid 19. They will be there and never
gone. So the best way is to stay healthy and go for a check-up twice a year.

1. What does the phrase "Think green" mean to you?
"THINK GREEN" means to pursue knowledge and practices that can lead to more
environmentally friendly and ecologically responsible decisions and lifestyles, which can help
protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for current and future generations.
2. Which of the suggestions in the infographic do you’ve already done? Which don't
you do?
Reduce – the time using water, the time taking shower…
Reuse – plastic bags and bottles
Recycle – make products from bottles, make flowers pots, pen holders, …
3. How are the 3Rs related to survival?
They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy. Plus, the three R's save land and
money communities must use to dispose of waste in landfills. So, the 3R is essentially related to
survival.

1. Do you think it's important to save elephants? Why? / Why not?
Yes, I do agree with this. Elephants are important because they participate in the renewal of
forest or savanna ecosystems through the dissemination of the seeds contained in their dung.
These seeds germinate quickly into grasses, shrubs, and trees. In addition, some plant species
have the particularity of only germinating well if they pass through the digestive tract of an
elephant. Elephants are therefore known as nature’s gardeners or ecosystem engineers. They help
to maintain ecosystems for other species, and their presence is a key indicator of a thriving
ecosystem.
2. The CEO of Wildlife Direct says that when adult elephants are killed, you are
removing the knowledge base of generations. What do you think this means for
future generations of elephants?
The young generations will not have someone to guide them throughout the world.
Conflicts between humans and elephants will become increasingly toxic. They don’t know where
to find food and water and end up finding in the village where people live.

1. When are discussion sessions most effective?
When everyone in the group contributes their opinions and respectfully listen to the others. I
think that’s the most effective way when doing a group work.
2. What does "make a contribution" mean here?
From my perspective, make a contribution means to come up with an idea, or develop them.
3. What are the two ways a student can take personal responsibility in the discussion?

1. What are your strengths in group discussions?
One of my strengths is to come up with an idea, I can think quickly and creatively. Plus, I can
also contribute more, like making PowerPoint slides and presenting them.
2. What are your biggest challenges in groups?
Normally, I can talk for hours with my friends, but I really don’t understand why I couldn’t show
my ideas the most effective way. My points are always messed up and the others, my teammates,
find it hard to catch up with me.
3. What do you think you might do to be more effective?
Well, first I need to take notes on all the ideas that come up to my head. Then, it is not simple to
rearrange them, but I’ll have to figure it out. Next, I’ll try to make myself clarified by talking to
my alliance so slowly that they can stick to the plan.

1. Which renewable sources of energy do you think would work well in your country?
Why?
Solar energy, wind energy, water, geothermal energy. I highly recommend the solar energy
because the weather in VN is tropical monsoon climate so there will be more sunlight and more
rain in some seasons. We are lucky to have the long shoreline which can easily catch the wind
from the oceans.

2. Graywater reuse: Collecting and treating greywater (wastewater from sinks, showers, and
washing machines) for reuse in irrigation, flushing toilets and other non-potable uses.
3. Water-efficient fixtures: Installing low-flow toilets, faucets, and showerheads in public
buildings to reduce water use.
4. Water conservation education: Educating the community about water conservation and
encouraging them to adopt water-saving practices in their daily lives.

3. What are other ways of possibly getting access to fresh water besides desalinization

Portable water generator – so this is how it works; it pulls moisture from the air and turns it into
drinkable water provided by a dispenser at the base.
Otherwise, I think human needs to find other way to recycle the wastewater into portable one,
maybe no one can do it now but I still have faith that people can do it in the future.
