CONTENT STANDARD The learner will be able to understand and appreciate the elements and
contexts of 21st century Philippine literature from the regions.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and appreciation of
21st century Philippine literature from regions through:
1. A written close analysis and critical interpretation of a literary text in
terms of form and theme, with a description of its context derived from
research; and
2. An adaptation of a text into other creative form using multimedia.

LEARNING COMPETENCY Do self-and/or peer-assessment of the creative adaptation of a literary text,


based on rationalized criteria, prior to presentation.
I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
1. Identify the basic elements of short story.
2. Perform a role play out from the story.
3. Appreciate the moral lesson of the story.

 Each group should find a short story and you are going to present
role play in you chosen story.
 Give some moral that you learn in your chosen story.

Presentation- The overall performance is either excellent 30%

Relevance- Indicate clear understanding of the piece. 20%
Characterization- Portrayed the events realistically and 10%
dramatically
Delivery- express the message audience to the audience with 10%
great clarity
Props/ Costumes-Made use of appropriate props 10%
Cooperation-The members are well-brief of their roles 10%
Preparedness- The members are well-organized and prepared 10%
for their presentation.
