What is Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is a Holiday the last Thursday of November


This year it's November 24th

Its a day of feasting with Family and Friends. It is also a day


of giving thanks to what you have.

Brief History In September 1620, a small ship
called the Mayflower left
Plymouth, England, carrying 102
passengers

Throughout that first brutal


winter, most of the colonists
remained on board the ship,
where they suffered from
exposure, scurvy and outbreaks
of contagious disease. Only half
of the Mayflower’s original
passengers and crew lived to see
their first New England spring.

table for quite a long time.

This is the second largest holiday to celebrate with family in the
