Course Objectives
After successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
Describe the relationship between business and economics in the Bangladesh and globally, and
be able to demonstrate a global perspective regarding the opportunities and challenges of
conducting businesses in the global marketplace.
Discuss how issues of social responsibility and ethics affect business as well as apply ethical,
legal, and societal perspectives to business decisions and situations.
Describe various types of legal ownership; define what a small business and entrepreneurship
are and their importance to the Bangladesh. Economy; discuss how the Small Business
Administration helps small businesses; and explain the various types of franchising
opportunities as well as their advantage and disadvantage.
