Voltage and Current Waveform Analysis

The research focuses on the harnessing of power from the piezoelectric transducers in which it is a
critical aspect of the analysis involving a meticulous examination of voltage and current waveforms
generated by the piezoelectric material under varying mechanical stimuli. Employing the sophisticated
instrumentation with Piezoelectric Sensor, the data will be recorded and analyzed by the use of the
Voltage and Current Waveform Analysis. The Waveform Analysis can be made by observing displays of
voltage and current variations with the respect to time. Waveform displays are particularly valuable for
adjusting and testing pulse-generating, pulse-forming, and pulse-amplifying circuits. Thus, the waveform
visual display is also useful for determining signal distortion, phase shift, modulation factor, frequency,
and peak-to-peak voltage in which correlates to the dynamic electrical response of the piezoelectric
transducer to mechanical vibrations. The voltage and current waveforms provide invaluable insights into
the transient behavior of the material. It aids in the identification of optimal operating conditions for
power generation. By scrutinizing the shape or form, amplitude, and frequency of these waveforms,
there will be a gain of comprehensive understanding of the piezoelectric material's performance
characteristics. This waveform analysis not only allowed us to quantify the electrical power output but
also facilitated the identification of resonance frequencies and points of maximum efficiency where the
design, construction of material and the sensitivity of material of the transducer is considered. The
findings from this analysis contribute significantly to the fine-tuning of our energy harvesting system in
which it will be guiding to the optimization efforts for enhanced power output and the overall efficiency
of the piezoelectric transducer in our research endeavor.
