Dear School Director;

Greetings!

After months of dedicated effort and anticipation, we are excited to finally unveil our new
students and old students to our prestigious school. The office of the Student Affairs organized
an Acquaintance Party to celebrate the Grand Opening of St. Joseph Vocational and Technical
Training and Assessment Center Incorporated for the Academic Year 2023-2024.

This event will give an opportunity to all students to interact and meet new friends that will make
their Senior High School experience more indelible.

In line with the activity of the school: The Grand Opening Acquaintance Party attached are the
proposed activities and some other relevant information of this activity.

In this regard, we would like to request an amount of Four Thousand, Five Hundred Pesos (P4,
500) to defray the expenses for the said activity. (Please see attached proposed budget.)

FOOD EXHIBIT

Mechanics:
 Each section needs a unique booth for food exhibit.
 The exhibit includes a food item of their choice/given.
 A booth need a unique and creative look.
 The booth needs to be prepared before the celebration day.
 The name of the class section is displayed on the booth.

Criteria for Judging Food Exhibit

Orderliness/Arrangement- 40%

Completeness of Food- 40%

Group Cooperation- 20%

Total- 100%

YELL COMPETITION

Mechanics:

 The competition shall be participated by all sections.


 The use of Vulgar Language is prohibited and will be subject to disqualification.
 The use of body movements, lifts, and tossing are allowed provided that it will not
endanger anyone.
 The use of drums and other instruments is allowed. Note: The yell must be audible, and
not be overpowered by the sounds produced by the instruments.
 The use of props is allowed, provided that it will not hinder the next performers.
Performers then are expected to clear the performance area after their respective
performances.
 The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and non-appealable.

Criteria Yells Competition

Creativity – 40%

Clarity of Voice – 10%

Mastery and Timing – 20%

Impact – 30%

Total – 100%

PASUNDAYAG

Mechanics:

 The competition shall be participated by all sections.


 The pasundayag participant will dance while showcasing their food.
 The yells must be a background sound while performing the pasundayag.
 There must be a 1-minute performance for the pasundayag.
 The food that they are showcasing has to be served in a bilao and brought to the teachers
table.

Criteria for Pasundayag

Dance Movement- 20%

Food Handling Performance- 20%

Mixing Yells Clarity- 20%

Facial Expression- 20%

Impact- 20%

LOS OBREROS GOT TALENT

Mechanics:

 Each class must have a representative who will perform on the event. Group or solo
performance may do. No minimum or maximum of performers per section.
 All performers must be a student of the section they are representing.
 An allotted time of 3 minutes minimum and a maximum of 5 minutes presentation per
class is permitted. Preparation for presentation is included in the time allotted for each
performer.
 No daring costumes are allowed.5. No dangerous stunts are allowed.
 There will be 3 judges.
 The decision of the judges is final.10. Performers who will not abide with the mechanics
provided, shall be disqualified.

Criteria for Los Obreros Got Talent

Talent/Performance- 50%

Originality- 25%

Creativity of Performance- 10%

Audience Impact- 10%

Costume/Props- 5%
