PROJECTS Design of novel system for Mars approach, mapping and energy extraction
Domain: Space Exploration May 2018 - Aug 2018
Designed an integrated Fuel cell - capacitor assembly coupled with a Radio frequency
oscillator and Tesla coil system(FC-RFTC),that can serve twin purpose of orbit attitude
transfer and extraction of carbon-dioxide rich Martian soil for energy generation.

proposed FC-RFTC assembly is seen to perform operations that are faster, more
durable and environmental friendly than current systems, in an integrated manner.

Study, Design and Testing of Hybrid Ram-Rocket

Domain: Rocket Design and Propulsion Jan 2018 - Apr 2018
 Designed and tested the Hybrid Ram-rocket prototype.
 The study successfully demonstrated the working of the system in three different
modes- 1. Hybrid Rocket mode, 2. Air-augmented Rocket mode and 3. Ram
Rocket mode.
 Theoretically calculation on above operations were performed.
 Remarkably the whole setup performed a very quiet operation compared to the
usual working sound levels.
 The Ram Rocket is controllable, efficient and ecofriendly for any kind of the missiles.
Study of aerodynamics of sedan type vehicles
Domain: Aerodynamics Jan 2017 - Apr 2017
The study focused on to reduce the drag forming at the rear of the sedan type vehicles,
by delaying flow separation using bump shaped vortex generators.
Flow visualization by means of smoke illuminated by continuous laser was done in
order to correlate the findings with flow phenomena.
A computational analysis employing Fluent was performed to optimize the location
of the vortex generators. the vortex generators when placed in a linear fashion
along the length of the sedan vehicles produced best results.
The study has deep implications in an improvement in the performance of the vehicle
and in fuel savings associated with lower drag.
