teacher.

Is that clear kids?

Okay very good. Yes, teacher

E) REVIEW

Okay class before we start, if you still

remember what was our last lesson?

Very good, now teacher will you show you It’s about adding or combining
some objects and tell me if how many are
they if we combine them together

Do you understand it class?

(Teacher show some example)

Yes Tacher!

+ =?
(The student will raise their hands)
Teacher call student the who raise they
hands.

Very good! Okay class let's give your

classmate an (fireworks clap) (Student answer in correctly)
4 eggs teachers.
Now teacher will give another example
(Shows some object and materials) (Student will do the Fireworks Clap)
5eggs + 5eggs =?

Teacher call student the who raise they (The student will raise their hands)
hands.

10eggs Teacher!
Very good can we give your classmate an
(fireworks clap)
(Student will give their classmate a
Next example. fireworks clap)

4plates + 3plates=?

Teacher call student the who raise they (The student will raise their hands)
hands.

7plates Teacher!
Very good can we give your classmate an

(Student will give their classmate a
fireworks clap)
If you have a question, don’t be shy to ask the
teacher. Is that okay?

Yes, Teacher
Very Good Class, you all did well and great. In
that you give all yourselves an Angels Clap.

(Student will do the Angels Clap)

IV MOTIVATION

Before we start our lesson, we will have a

quick activity. Are you excited?

What can you say about the number of

goldfish in each aquarium? Yes, Teacher!
(Everyone said)
Yes, Teacher!

There are 3 aquariums. Each aquarium has 4

goldfish. There are 3 groups and there are 4
Yes, Teacher
in each group. We can say that there are "3
groups of 4." This is an example of an
"expression" or a mathematical phrase. To
(Student will group they self into 3)
form this expression, we first count the
number of equal groups. Th we count the
number of objects in each group

We are going to do today is Group

yourselves. The teacher will tell you the
(Student will group they self into 6)
number.

Example: Teacher said group yourselves into

4. You find your group that contains 4
members. You get it class?

(Student will group they self into 2)

Okay, are you ready?

Group yourselves into 3.

(Student will group they self into 8)

The teacher will do the head counting. Okay
class very good! Next.

Group yourselves into 6.

(Student will group they self into 10)

The teacher will do the head counting. Okay
class very good! Next.
(Student will go back to their Sits)

Group yourselves into 2.

The teacher will do the head counting. Okay (Student will do the fireworks clap)
class very good! Next.

Group yourselves into 8.

The teacher will do the head counting. Okay

class very good! Next.

(Student will raise their hand and

Group yourselves into 10. tell the different color of the
construction paper)
Red, yellow, green and orange.
The teacher will do the head counting. Okay
class very good! Okay class settle down.
(Student will do the fireworks clap)
Okay class give yourselves a Fireworks
clap!
Yes, teacher

VI PRESENTATION
(Student will raise their hand)
So, class what we did earlier has a connection
with our new lesson for today. In that I will
give you another example. So, I have
5, Teacher
assorted or different kinds of color of
construction paper here. Can you tell me the
different kind of color?
(Student will do the fireworks clap)

(Student will raise their hand)

(Teacher will call one student)

Correct, very good! Give your classmate a 5, Teacher

fireworks clap

(Student will do the fireworks clap)

Can you please count the pieces of colored
paper that have been given to each group?
(Student will raise their hand)
How many pieces of color red do you have?

(Teacher will call one student) 5, Teacher

Very good! Give your classmate a fireworks (Student will do the fireworks clap)
clap.

How about in color yellow? (Student will raise their hand)

(Teacher will call one student)

5, Teacher

Very good! Give your classmate a fireworks

clap. (Student will do the fireworks clap)

How about in green? Yes, Teacher!

(Teacher will call one student)

Very good! Give your classmate a fireworks

clap.

Okay, for the last color orange?

(Teacher will call one student)

Very good! Give your classmate a fireworks

clap.

Great job class! Because today we going to

Count groups of equal quantity. Are you ready?

B DISCUSSION
Our lesson for today is counting groups of equal
quantity up to 50 and writing an equivalent
expression.

I have different toys on the table right now there

are different from one another.

(groups 5 sea animals and 5 shapes and 5 letters

and shows it to the children)

This is how you group them based on their

proper groups, right?

Now I will show you how you can write their

proper equivalent expression. always remember
that they are equal in number and when we say No, teacher
equal, if you have 5 flowers, then the next item
for example is vase it needs to be 5 in number.

Now I will show you how you can write their

proper equivalent expression

5 sea animals + 5 shapes+ 5 letters = 15 objects

all in all.

Now for another example

I have 10 letters and 10 fruits and 10 sea animals

10 letters + 10 fruits+ 10 sea animals then I have

10 objects all in all.

Since our topic says 50 now

I will be showing you how to group 50 objects

based on their groups and how you can write
their equivalent expressions but before I show
you how do you have other questions kids?

Okay kids
Now I have 10 letters, 10 fruits, 10 numbers, and
10 eggs, 10 numbers, 10 sea animals.
10 letters+ 10 fruits+ 10minutes+ 10 eggs+ 10
numbers + 10 sea animals = 50 objects all in all.

C.APPLICATION

Write the equivalent expression of the given

items.

1.)
+

(4 groups of 5)

How many groups of flowers are there?

2.)
+

(4 groups of 4)
How many groups of stars are there?

3.)
+

(3 groups of 10)

How many groups of hearts are there?

= (30)

4.)
+

Counts groups of equal quantity using

concrete objects 1 up to 50 and writes an
+ equal expressions teacher!

We can use it when we are organizing our

stuff and grouping it in equal quantities
(3 groups of 15) teacher!

40
How many groups of starfish are there?

5.)

How many groups of diamond are there?

D. GENERALIZATION

Again, what was the topic we had discussed today?

Good job!

And what is the significance of studying counting

groups in equal objects that you can apply with
in your daily life?
IV – ASSIGNMENT
