With reasons and vivid examples discuss the validity of the following statement:-

Globalization and technology are like bolt and nut.


Globalization: is the process of interaction and integration among people, companies and
government worldwide interns of globalization will be interns of economic, social, cultural and
history .(K.E.L Smith 2018).Globalization mostly makes the growth in economic, social, and
cultural independence between difference nations and localities .

According to Joseph Stiglitz a nobelprize-winning economist globalization is “the closer


integration of the countries and people of the world which has been brought about by the
enormous reduction of cost of transportation and communication.

Globalization can also mean the process whereby the whole world become like a single village
due to improvements of science and technology and this can be seen though the increased
movement of people across content and increased trade openness .

Technology: refers to the application of conceptual knowledge for achieving practical goods with
new generation .According to Nascia,M.Pianta(2009) in advanced countries technological
changes has been based on information and communication technologies (ICTs).Its true that
globalization and technology are like about a bolt and nut ,meaning they are mostly
interconnected and play a significant role in shaping the world today .This statements is valid
due to the following reasons ;

Information flow: Nowadays there is a dynamic flow of information due to the advancement of
science and technology that fasten supply of information all over the world and make the whole
world to look like a single village. For example the use of internet and digital platforms that help
to change the means of communication and brought more connection of people all the world due
to the democratization of information that connected people, business and government
worldwide hence brought improvements of vast date analyzed Castell,M.(2020).

Innovation and competition: Due to application of science and technology as a valid and
desirable by people all over the world that leads to more and more innovation and facilitated
competition in the global landscape whereby technology served as the catalyst for innovation that
has brought the creations of new products that promote growth of markets and business that
improves interaction of people globally that pushes industrial growth through the innovations of
modern equipments such as machines that help to replace human labour especially skilled and
semi -skilled laborers Skare,M.,& Soriano,D.R.(2021).

Communication Revolution: Globalization and technology are deeply intertwined in the


communication revolution and this also sharpen on how people and their business are been
connected all over the world due to advancement of tools that are used in the communication that
shifted global interaction through facilitating the means of communication .For example use of
internet, social media that had tried to broken down geographical barrier and normally fostered
cultural exchange ,knowledge sharing and collaboration efforts on global scale

Supply chain integration :Both globalization and technology are among of the fundamentally
transformation of business and they helped on how to manage and optimize their global
operations .For example RFID (Radio -frequency identification ),LOT (internet of things ) and
advance data analytics have revolutionized supply chain management .The integration not only
improves the efficiency of production and distribution but also enable companies to adapt swiftly
to change in global demands Aundram,V.P.K.Chnetri,P.&,Bahrin,A.S.(2020).

Market access: Through the markets access that lead to the shaping the economic landscape on
the global scale particularly the flow of the technological advancement that facilitated the digital
communication and e-commerce ,for example online platforms that facilitated seamless across
border transactions that enable companies to tap into diverse markets and consumers hence
technology enable market intelligence to allows business to analyze global trends and consumer
precedence’s ,thereby adapting their strategies to suit various international markets Paul,J.(2015).

Connectivity :Due to the advancements of technology that bads to revolutionize the


communication of the world and makes collaboration due to the innovations of communication
materials that help to facilitate the flow of information all over the world .For example the use of
internet that improves telecommunications and networking that has created a seamlessly
connected global landscape.

This interconnectedness allows for instant communication ,information change and collaboration
across the borders hence connectivity’s facilitated by technology is a driving force behind the
rapid flow of information .Becker,W.,Dominguez-Torreiro,M.,Neves,A.R.,Moura,C.T.,&
Saisana,M.(2021).

Conclusively, Both globalization and technology play a vital roles since they are related together
as a one things, that they shapes human history, the vast majorities of the world's populations that
is connected through trade ,travel ,production media and politics, hence they make the world to
look like a single village as information nowadays flow to all people who wherever they are
through the means of internet .
