Urgently required for one of the most Renowned Refinery in UAE (Abu Dhabi / Ruwais) Covering
Crude Oil & Condensate Refining, Supply of Petroleum Products Production of granulated Sulphur.
BASIC FUNCTION
-Supervises the maintenance and repair of a wide range of machinery parts and equipment in the
workshop, including machining and repair of valves and the supervision of tool store operation kept
under his custody.
-Includes monitoring work execution and providing guidance to ensure conformity to statutory,
company regulations and international standards.
-Inspects completed work for conformity to craft standards, operational requirements, and safety
standards.
-Cooperates with other maintenance and production personnel over multi-disciplined work, and the
installation and testing of fabricated parts.
WORK PERFORMED
-Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Mechanical Workshop. Performs supervisory
functions at the level established by management for the position.
-Receives planned and ad hoc job requests from other Maintenance, Operations or Technical
Services personnel to repair special requirements. Review drawings and sketches for work, allocates
assignments and provides technical guidance and instructions throughout duration of the job.
Inspects completed work for conformity to requirements and arranges for the installation and
testing of fabricated parts.
-Implements preventive maintenance programmes for machinery only (Ruwais) or machinery in the
workshop and for power tools and equipment kept in the tool stores. Includes determining
frequency of maintenance based on historical data or manufacturer's recommendations; preparing
equipment check lists and keeping detailed equipment records and performance data, preparing
daily or weekly schedules and raising job cards or work orders according to schedules.
-Monitors the requirements for general materials, spare parts and equipment for the Workshop;
follows up to ensure that sufficient raw materials, spare parts, tools and equipment are available to
enable work to be carried out. Prepares requisitions for replenishment as necessary. Inspects
materials prior to acceptance and participates in technical evaluation of materials ordered and
received.
-Carries out regular inspections of shop and work areas to ensure that safe working conditions are
provided, that equipment and tools are used in accordance with operating instructions and that
equipment which is malfunctioning is identified for repair or replacement.
-Exercises general supervision over the operations of a tool store. Includes ensuring an efficient
system for receiving, storing and issuing tools and equipment and for keeping records of movements
in and out. Follows up on maintenance and repair requirements for tools kept under his custody.
-Acts as a member of various Materials Committees to provide professional assistance, from a
workshop point of view, on the safest methods to implement required modification/repair works, or
to provide advice on the feasibility of in-workshop fabrication of equipment and/or parts to effect
the objective of material stock optimisation and resource utilization. Includes inspecting parts to be
fabricated, raising purchase requisitions to procure required materials and supervising work
execution until satisfactory completion.
-Identifies specific training needs for National employees undergoing on-the-job training for
Supervisor's attention. Carries out training of trainees, developees and other subordinates to
improve their skills with a clear objective of career development.
-Carries out other similar or related duties, as assigned. Includes assessing work needs and
identifying job requirements, and coordinating with outside facilities available to execute the job
satisfactorily; preparing various activity reports; ensuring that good house-keeping is practiced at all
times, and that material is salvaged and reconditioned wherever possible.
-Participate in TQM and HSE systems and conduct daily tool box talk and weekly safety talk with
subordinates to uphold the department objectives.
-Assist in job safety analysis, criticality analysis.
-Prepares equipment technical assembly data reports for lathe, milling, and shaping machines, keeps
records for future reference and maintains technical equipment files for proper follow-up and
monitoring.
-Suggests and proposes to the Sr. Mech. Engr./Mech. Engr. minor modifications to be carried out on
related equipments to improve the performance and reliability of the same.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
-Completion of Technical Higher Diploma.
-Minimum 8 years' experience in diversified metal crafts, including machine tooling, bench fitting,
tool repair, welding and sheet metal works.
-Fair knowledge of English.

Implement and develop Quality Management System

Key responsibilities
Responsible for complete control of the manufacturing workshop which involves CNC threading

Develop and be responsible for quality management systems to ensure compliance with relevant
standards and the production of finished goods to high quality and consistent standards.
To act as the interface with CUSTOMERS and to ensure compliance with the design brief and
conversion of the drawing into the CNC manufacturing program.
Responsible for profit and loss account associated with the day to day operations.
Standardisation of product offering in conjunction with design department.
Material Requirement Planning : develop a workable MRP system to ensure raw material and
subcontractors are available to match demand.
Full responsibility for product costs for manufactured, assembled and subcontracted items.

Job Purpose:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Review the machining content of components to be repaired or re-manufactured and determine

Workshop Supervisor
Basic Function:
Supervises and responsible for the works under mechanical workshop including valve, fabrication
and welding shops, additionally civil and HVAC maintenance works of buildings and facilities.
Reviews and approves the time sheets for Contractor's staff, takes part in material purchasing so
that an effective and efficient service is provided to the operation and plant availability
department. Prepares scads related to his field of concern for the required spare parts and
material.
Ensures that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the applicable Health & Safety and
quality assurance procedures and standards, and ensures that all safety equipment is
available.
Ensures that contractors follow related approved documents of Borouge in job delivery as
and where it is applicable
Carries out regular checks, physically or through SAP, for the availability of required spare
parts, materials and consumables.
Plans, organizes and coordinates with concerned contractors the day to day activities and
ensures that all jobs are prioritized and done as required.
Ensures all equipment in workshop and valve shop are smooth in operation,
Prepares preventive maintenance plan for all machine and valve shop, welding and
fabrication shop equipments.
Reviews and approves the Contractor's maintenance schedule for civil, electrical and HVAC
systems related to buildings and facilities in the plant.
Coordinates and follows up the repair of under ground piping leaks and ensures that the job
is carried out as per Company's procedures and safety best practices.
Reviews and approves the time sheets for Contractor's staff and equipment and material
purchasing.
Communicates, coordinates and follows up with the Call - Out Contractors for the jobs to be
carried out at site and/or off-site at the contractor's facilities
Work Contacts:
Daily contacts with PA and Operations personnel at equal level, to clarify assistance required on
contractor services for project, maintenance and operational activities, and to establish priorities
according to operation requirements to minimize interruptions.
Independence of Operations :
Reports to the Workshop Team Leader. Works in accordance with established policies and
professional engineering standards. Work is subject to review and discussion.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Supervises and coordinates with a team of contractors' Site coordinators, Engineers Supervisors &
Technicians, as well as, supervising workshop maintenance activities and on-site activities, such as
Site Fabrication Jobs, on-line leak sealing, civil works, HVAC works and underground piping repair
and in situ machining at site.

Role Purpose:-
Plan, prepares, control master and analyse production schedule of the production plants in order
to have finished products of the right quantity, timely and profitably manufactured. Monitor and
control for the product flows and stock of feedstock, base resins, additives, catalyst, co-catalyst
and master batch for the production plants.
Area of responsibility
Review 5 years company business plant together with supply team and establish the best
long term production plan.
Prepare and establish planned and expected production capacity usage through monthly
and quarterly plans in order to fulfill sales needs and to maintain most economical capacity
usage. Based on that agree and produce a production schedule.
Maintain operative sales plan to assure short throughput times and a quick inventory
rotation taking into account the optimisation of production sequences to avoid non-aim
product and minimize transition due to grade changes or production stops.
Monitor production schedule by analyzing detail production schedule with actual produced
material, then change or modify the schedule if the actual production is defer from the
planned.
Monitor production results on a daily basis and adjust as needed. Negotiate proper solutions
with marketing and production when supply problem occur.
Calculate variable cost for all production plants as part of budgeting processes and
communicate with finance for the final figure.
Calculate long term raw materials requirements as an input for establishing new contract
with external raw material suppliers.
Calculate and communicate the requirements for monomers, catalyst, additives, fillers,
master batches and base resins and generate the necessary purchase requests of call-offs.
Review technical information of new contract from every raw material supplier and advice
procurement department with preferable logistics condition.
Maintain proper inventory levels for every raw material considering long lead time, storage
limitation and fast turnover of the raw materials.
Monitoring deliveries of the raw materials and contact procurement to get assist from
supplier of the actual deliveries.
Prepare daily production report, weekly production report and monthly site planning
department report.
Part of team of new grade test run and raw material business strategy together with
material owner, procurement, laboratory and innovation center.
Master data custodian (create, change and maintain) for the finished good and also for raw
materials.
Create master recipe and production version as a basic requirement for recipe management
execution.
Monitor production confirmation and resolve the problem if the error is related with
business process.
Reviewing demand and requirements in the system and resolve the problem together with
concern people from supply chain team.
Adjust raw material consumptions and finished good production as part of month end
closing for finance department.

Responsibilities:
Create TPM 4 pillars Level Steps for Machine / Man / Training / Measurable.
Analyze training needs to develop additional training program AMT teams that do not
performed.
Confer with production TPM Facilitators to identify training needs for AMT teams.
Responsible for Plant wide TPM - AMT ( Autonomous Maintenance Team ) progress.
Provide guidance and Support of TPM AM / PM / FI Concept to all Directs and Indirect
employees.
Train all AMT teams members on TPM basic concept & 5S in manufacturing
Organize and Participate in AMT Team Management Visit and compile visit report
Co-ordinate TPM Managers Model with Production Head for Productivity Improvement
(Focus Improvement)
TPM trainer for OSDC program. Provide TPM training in induction and SSD program.
