Yousef Ekarat, popularly known as Fousey is one of the people who have influenced my
life in the entertainment industry. Fousey has played a great role in my life by shaping and my
personality and characteristics. I can comfortably look up to him for advice during hard
situations with certainty that he will give words of wisdom. Fousey’s success in the
entertainment industry has motivated me to start my social media career. Fousey has experienced
all sorts of life situations which make to look up on him. The way Fousey handles his challenges
The most inspiring message about Fousey is that there is light at the end of the tunnel. He
encourages by telling them that life is full of ups and downs but there is always a way out. The
media personality had a terrible 2018 year whereby he was struggling with mental state and he
lost all his material things; money, cars and house (Keith, 2019). My role model also lost the
public respect, self respect and self identity that he had created for years. However, by the end of
the year, Fousey had the courage to post in his Instagram account that there is light at the end of
the tunnel. Notably, he inspired me that regardless of the challenges in life there is hope for a
Fousey inspires me as a content creator. Now, like Fousey, I am a hard working content
creator who believes that hard work is the key in entertainment industry. I look at how he rose to
limelight by creating videos that got great following in social media and how he rose up to the
great following after the fall in 2018. Fousey has returned to making videos in YouTube despite
his great downfall. I have learned through Fousey that life is about how you keep moving
forward after falling down. If you know hate you are worth, you goes out and get what you are
worth. Despite Fousey falling down, he has managed to bounce back in YouTube doing what he 3
does best. Fousey has no regrets for backsliding at some point in his life because he believes he
will work to get back. I have put in a lot of hard work and creativity to ensure my content earns
great followership. He has a bachelor’s in acting and has inspired me to work on it the moment
Fousey is someone I believe he will focus in helping people because he really cares. I do
not feel awkward reaching to about my problems. I have reached to him a couple of times when I
am down. I talked to him when I was at very low moment in my content creation career. He
advised me by referring to his July 15th situation when his performance was cancelled due to a
suspected bomb threat. Fousey posted in Instagram in 2019 that the world is not full of sunshine
and rainbows but a mean place that will fight you to the knees of you allow it (Ainsworth, 2021).
From the post, I feel obliged to make effort and get what I am worth no matter the challenges.
I believe that Fousey has played an important role in my life. He has motivated, inspired
and encouraged me. Fousey’s life experiences have educated me in a meaningful way. I can
reach to him to talk about my problems. Being in the same career field has inspired me to work
