Responsible for a diverse range of complex assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and
judgment and may direct work of other engineers and/or support staff. Plans and conducts own work,
exercising substantial latitude for unreviewed decisions. Demonstrates technical expertise in specialty,
geographic area, or operational function.
Education/Years of Experience:
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum eight (8) years of progressive engineering
experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry including five (5) years in a similar project
engineering role (in pre-FEED, FEED, detail engineering or EPC).
Other Requirements:
• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills.
• Advanced knowledge of the engineering workflow and Project Life Cycle processes.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards
related to an engineering field.
• Intermediate knowledge of other engineering subject areas design guides and standards.
• Demonstrated ability in interpreting engineering deliverable content as assigned.
• Proficiency with construction & constructability practices & principles and technology trends.
• Strong understanding of processes and procedures for project controls and estimating.
• Proficiency of procurement & contract administration, business & financial insight, management
techniques & administrative practices.
