ABOUT THE GUIDEBOOK
This guidebook was made for those seeking mystical insights and
spiritual guidance. Within its pages, you’ll encounter three powerful
divination tools: Astrology, Tarot, and Oracle Cards. Let’s delve
into their meanings and discover how to seamlessly integrate them
for a comprehensive reading session.
1. Astrology:
o Astrology is an ancient practice that examines the
positions and movements of celestial bodies to gain
insights into human affairs and natural phenomena. It
operates on the belief that the positions of planets, stars,
and other cosmic elements influence our lives. Each zodiac
sign corresponds to specific personality traits, life themes,
and challenges. Astrologers create birth charts (natal charts)
based on an individual’s birth date, time, and location.
These charts reveal planetary placements and aspects,
allowing us to explore our strengths, weaknesses, and life
purpose. In a reading session, consider your astrological
sign and the current planetary transits to gain deeper self-
awareness and guidance.
7
2. Tarot:
o Tarot cards consist of 78 cards divided into two main
sections: the Major Arcana (22 cards) and the Minor
Arcana (56 cards). Each card carries symbolic meanings
and archetypal energies. Tarot readings provide profound
insights into past, present, and future events. The Major
Arcana represents significant life lessons and spiritual
growth, while the Minor Arcana reflects everyday
situations. To use Tarot in conjunction with other tools,
shuffle the deck, focus on your question, and draw cards.
Pay attention to the imagery, symbols, and intuitive
impressions. Tarot cards can guide you through life’s
twists and turns, offering clarity and wisdom.
3. Oracle Cards:
o Unlike Tarot, Oracle cards have no fixed structure or
symbolism. They are channeled through artists or creators,
resulting in diverse meanings and themes. Oracle decks
offer intuitive insights, advice, and answers. When using
Oracle cards, connect with your higher self and intuition.
Shuffle the deck, ask a specific question, and draw cards.
Each card’s imagery and message provide unique
perspectives. Oracle cards are versatile and can
complement Tarot readings. Combine both decks by
mixing piles, reshuffling, and pulling cards. The synergy
of Astrology, Tarot, and Oracle Cards enhances your
spiritual journey, providing holistic guidance for mind,
body, and soul.

ASTROLOGY
Let’s delve into the fascinating world of astrology. Astrology is the
observation of the interplay between the planets and our Earth. Although
astrologers colloquially refer to the Sun and the Moon as “planets,” they are
actually luminaries. Through thousands of years of observation, two key
principles have emerged. First, each planet represents an energetic part of
our being or a component of life (such as emotions, communication style,
or love style). Second, the position of each planet in the heavens indicates
how its component manifests. Natal astrology examines the positions of
planets at the moment of your birth to understand their influence in your
life.
9
Astrologers also divide the circle into 12 Houses, each representing
specific life areas (e.g., relationships, career, health). The planets fall into
these Houses, influencing those aspects of life. Aspects are specific angles
between planets or between a planet and a point. Major aspects occur at 0,
60, 90, 120, or 180 degrees. Minor aspects involve other degrees of
separation. Planets in aspect have dynamic relationships that shape how
their energies manifest—whether easily or with struggle.
1. Natal Astrology:
o Methodology: Natal astrology uses an individual’s birth chart
(based on the time, date, and location of birth) as a map to the
cosmos.
o Purpose: It seeks answers related to an individual’s life direction,
goals, hopes, and fears. By analyzing the birth chart, astrologers
gain insights into past lives and current experiences.
o Key Components: Birth chart, progressions (evolved birth chart),
and timing analysis.
10
2. Vedic Astrology (Hindu Astrology):
o Origin: Vedic astrology dates back thousands of years in India.
o Calibration: Unlike Western astrology (which follows seasons),
Vedic astrology is calibrated based on constellations (Jyotiṣa
system).
o Applications: Used for marriage predictions, business success,
and everyday life themes.
3. Love Astrology:
o Focus: Examines how planets connect in relationship charts.
o Synastry Chart: Compares planets between two individuals’
charts.
o Composite Chart: Combines both charts to understand their
connection.
4. Horoscopic Astrology:
o Defined by Ascendant: Horoscopic astrology emphasizes the
ascendant (rising sign) and its influence on an individual’s
personality and life path.
11
For the reading, the reader will be focusing on Natal Chart Astrology.
RULING SYSTEM
Let’s delve into the fascinating world of astrological rulerships. Each
zodiac sign is associated with a ruling planet, which influences its
characteristics and energies. Additionally, these planets have a connection
to specific houses in an astrological birth chart. Here’s a concise
overview:
Zodiac Ruling Planet Ruled Houses
Sign
Aries Mars First House (Ascendant/Ruler)
Taurus Venus Second House
Gemini Mercury Third House
Cancer Moon Fourth House (Imum Coeli/IC)
Leo Sun Fifth House
Virgo Mercury Sixth House
Libra Venus Seventh House (Descendant)
Scorpio Pluto (Mars) Eighth House
Sagittarius Jupiter Ninth House
Capricorn Saturn Tenth House (Medium Coeli/MC,
Midheaven)
Aquarius Uranus (Saturn) Eleventh House
Pisces Neptune (Jupiter) Twelfth House
Aside from Ruling signs with ruling planets in their ruling houses, there
are some extras that you may know about.
Vertex: A sensitive point related to fated encounters.
Retrograde: Indicates planetary motion appearing backward in the
sky.
12
Part of Fortune: Symbolizes well-being and prosperity.
Chiron: Represents the wounded healer.
Lilith: Reveals your personality's hidden or taboo parts.
Nodes (Also known as The Nodes of Destiny): are the two points in
the sky where the Moon and Sun cross paths. The Sun and The Moon
cross paths a few times a year, during which we experience the
astrological phenomenon known as eclipses. In astrology, the nodes
denote the spiritual paths that we should move toward and let go of, as
well as the type of energy we are currently working with. Over the
course of a year and a half, the nodes move through each axis. The
nodes are always in two opposite signs—for example, if the North
Node is in Leo, the South Node will be in Aquarius at the same time.
2. Second House:
o House of Possessions: Here, we explore our own money,
material possessions, and self-worth. It includes things we value,
hidden talents, and our sense of self-esteem.
13
3. Third House:
o House of Communication: This house relates to
communication, learning, and sibling relationships. It’s about
how we express ourselves within the limitations of our
environment.
6. Sixth House:
o House of Health & Service: Here, we focus on health, routine,
and service to others. It’s about maintaining well-being and
contributing to society.
8. Eighth House:
o House of Transformation: This house is intense and mysterious.
It relates to shared resources, sexuality, death, and rebirth. It’s
about transformation and deep connections.
14
9. Ninth House:
o House of Higher Learning: Here, we explore philosophy, travel,
higher education, and spirituality. It’s about expanding our
horizons.
To understand the client better, here are the list of the zodiac signs and
their characteristics.

ZODIAC SIGNS CHARACTERISTICS
Aries
The Ram
March 21 – April 19
Aries people are creative, adaptive, and insightful. They can also be strong-
willed and spontaneous. Aries people can be driven and are very ambitious
often making them over-achievers in anything they set their mind to tackle.
They may be quick to anger, but don’t take it personally, it’s just their fiery,
passionate personalities showing through. Aries signs have excellent sense
of humor, and they get along with almost everyone at the party. Aries can
be impatient, but we love them anyway because they are devoted friends,
lovers and family members – they are loyal to then end and will fight for
their causes (usually supporting the underdog).
Taurus
The Bull
April 20 – May 20
Taurus zodiac signs and meanings, like the animal that represents them, is
all about strength, stamina and will. Stubborn by nature, the Taurus will
stand his/her ground to the bitter end (sometimes even irrationally so). But
that’s okay because the Taurus is also a loving, sympathetic and
appreciative sign. The Taurus is very understanding and when we need
someone to unburden ourselves to, we often share our deepest fears with the
Taurians of the zodiac. Taurians are very patient, practical and efficient,
they are excellent in matters of business and are also wonderful
instructors/teachers. Although initially they may have their own best
interest at heart, they are ultimately and endlessly generous with their time,
possessions and love.
16
Gemini
The Twins
May 21 – June 20
Flexibility, balance and adaptability are the keywords for the Gemini. They
are quick to grasp the meaning of a situation and act on it, often with positive
effects. They tend to have a duality to their nature, and can sometimes be
tough to predict how they will react. They can turn from hot to cold and
may be prone to noticeable mood swings. However, they are generous signs
with tendencies of being affectionate, and imaginative. They also inspire
others easily as they seem to naturally motivate themselves – their charisma
and accomplishments are infectious. Geminians are very supportive, and are
especially good at promotions, sales, and driving hard bargains.
Cancer
The Crab
June 21 – July 22
Leo
The Lion
July 23 – August 22
The zodiac signs and meanings of Leo is about expanse, power and
exuberance. Leo’s are natural born leaders, and they will let you know it as
17
they have a tendency to be high-minded and vocal about their opinions.
That’s okay, because if you observe, the Leo is usually correct in his/her
statements. Leo’s have a savvy way of analyzing a situation and executing
swift judgment with a beneficial outcome. It comes from being a leader.
They are brave, intuitive, and also head-strong and willful. Beneath their
dynamic persona lies a generous, loving, sensitive nature that they do not
easily share with others. They might be a bit bossy, but those who know
them understand this comes from a source need to do good, not (usually)
from an inflated ego.
Virgo
The Virgin
August 23 – September 22
Virgo’s have keen minds, and are delightful to chat with, often convincing
others of outlandish tales with ease and charm. Virgo’s are inquisitive and
are very skilled at drawing information from people. This trait also makes
them naturally intuitive. Combine this with their remarkable memories, and
we see an advanced, analytical personality. However the Virgo needs
balance in their lives otherwise they may become short-tempered, impatient
and self-serving. Virgo’s are excellent teammates in work and social
activities. They work well with others, although they freely express their
opinions (even when unwarranted).
Libra
The Scales
September 23 – October 22
As their zodiac signs and meanings would indicate, Libra’s are all about
balance, justice, equanimity and stability. They easily surround themselves
with harmony and beauty, but sometimes go to extremes to do so if their
goals are unreasonable or unhealthy. With Venus as their ruling planet,
Libra’s are very understanding, caring, and often the champion of
underdogs. They have keen intuitions, but often don’t give themselves
18
enough credit for their perceptions. They can be quiet and shy if not
persuaded to come out of their shell. Ironically and in spite of their
introverted nature they make excellent debaters, often proving a point from
out of seemingly nowhere.
Scorpio
The Scorpion
October 23 – November 21
The Scorpio is often misunderstood. These personalities are bold and are
capable of executing massive enterprises with cool control and confidence.
They can surmount seemingly all obstacles when they put their mind to the
task, and they have unshakable focus when the situation calls for it.
Regardless of their bold nature, they are often secretive, but they are always
observing behind their withdrawn manner.
Sagittarius
The Centaur
November 22 – December 21
Here we have the philosopher among the zodiac signs and meanings. Like
the Scorpio, they have great ability for focus, and can be very intense.
However, they must channel their energy or they will waste time and wear
themselves out going in too many directions at once. They are not very
patient and expect quick results. However, when encountered with failure
they make extreme comeback’s often against incredible odds. They make
loyal friends and lovers, but they do not handle commitment well as they
refuse to be tied down while chasing philosophical pursuits.
19
Capricorn
The Goat
December 22 – January 19
Capricorn’s are also philosophical signs and are highly intelligent too. They
apply their knowledge to practical matters, and strive to maintain stability
and order. They are good organizers, and they achieve their goals by
purposeful, systematic means. They are very intuitive, although they don’t
share this trait with others freely. They do not deal well with opposition or
criticism but a healthy Capricorn will often shrug off negative comments
towards their character. They are patient and persevering – they know they
can accomplish any task as long as they follow a their plan step-by-step.
Capricorn’s have broad shoulders, and typically take on other’s problems
with aplomb. Ironically, they rarely share their own problems and tend to
go through bouts of inner gloom after a spell of dwelling on these problems.
Aquarius
The Water Bearer
January 20 – February 18

TAROT
Tarot (/ˈtæroʊ/, first known as trionfi and later as tarocchi or tarocks)
is a pack of playing cards, used from at least the mid-15th century in
various parts of Europe to play card games such as Tarocchini. Thus,
there are two distinct types of tarot packs in circulation: those used for
card games and those used for divination. However, some older patterns,
such as the Tarot de Marseille, originally intended for playing card games,
are occasionally used for cartomancy.
Like the common playing cards, tarot has four suits that vary by region:
French suits are used in western, central and eastern Europe, and Latin
suits in southern Europe. Each suit has 14 cards: ten pip cards numbering
from one (or Ace) to ten; and four face cards: King, Queen, Knight,
and Page. In addition, and unlike standard packs, the tarot also has a
separate 21-card trump suit and a single card known as the Fool.
Depending on the game, the Fool may act as the top trump or may be
played to avoid following suit.
In English-speaking countries where these games are not widely played,
only specially designed cartomantic tarot cards, used primarily for
novelty and divination, are readily available. However, scholarly research
demonstrated that tarot cards were invented in northern Italy in the mid-
15th century and confirmed that there is no historical evidence of any
significant use of tarot cards for divination until the late 18th century.
Historians have described western views of the Tarot pack as "the subject
of the most successful propaganda campaign ever launched... An entire
false history and false interpretation of the Tarot pack was concocted by
the occultists and it is all but universally believed."
22
In the occult tradition, tarot cards are referred to as "arcana", with the
Fool and 21 trumps being termed the Major Arcana and the suit cards
the Minor Arcana, terms not used by players of tarot card games.
Major Arcana
The Fool's Journey
The Major Arcana is a 22 card set within the tarot that is considered to
be the core and the foundation for the deck. All of the deck is filled with
archetypal significance, but this is most pronounced within the Major
Arcana. These cards follow a storyline that tells of the spiritual travels
taken from the innocent wonder of The Fool to the oneness and fulfillment
of The World. In other words, these cards tell the story of humanity's
spiritual evolution into enlightenment and individuation.
And so, as we follow the journey of the Fool, we can start seeing
common parallels between our own stages in life and those in the cards,
each card teaching a specific lesson and a concept to meditate over.
Because they form the basis of the tarot, some readings can sometimes be
conducted with only the Major Arcana as well.
Suit of Wands
Energy, drive, willpower, creativity, power
Associated with the element of fire, the suit of wands represents passion,
inspiration and willpower. The wands imbue their users with primal
energy, for it is through them that the cycle of creation can begin. Because
of their ability to bring energy into any situation, they are also associated
with action, ambition and making plans. At their worst, they can refer to
situations that are filled with recklessness and lack of direction. As you
follow the journey within the wands, you'll come across these themes again
and again.
23
Suit of Cups
emotion, feelings, intuition, relationships
The suit of cups rules over all that is associated with emotions, the
unconscious, creativity, and intuition. They frequently talk about
relationships, whether romantic or otherwise, and one's imagination and
inner world. They are associated with the element of water, which becomes
a frequent visual theme within this suit. At their worst, the cups suit is fret
with uncontrolled feelings, fantasy, and a disconnect with one's inner voice.
Suit of Swords
logic, ideas, intellect, communication
The swords is the suit of intelligence, logic, truth, ambition, conflict and
communication. It is associated with the element of air. In readings, these
cards focus on the faculty and power of intellect, which like the swords
themselves, are double-edged. This can be used for both good or evil, to
help and to harm, and our greatest conflicts usually come from this delicate
balance. At their worst, the swords can be abusive, harsh, and lack empathy.
Suit of Pentacles
nature, body, material world, stability
The pentacles is the suit of all things worldly and material. Though we
will immediately think of the pentacles as relating to financial matters, we
also can understand them as being associated with security, stability,
nature, health, and prosperity. The pentacles are of earth element.
When we see pentacles show up in a reading, they are usually concerned
with your long term future, career, generosity, your household, business
investments and your feelings of sensuality. The negative side of the
pentacles show up as greed, jealousy, miserliness, and unbridled ambition
at the cost of all else.
24
MAJOR ARCANA
1. THE FOOL
- The subject of the reading is a dreamer, a mystic. He has the desire
to accomplish a great goal. He must be careful to make the right
choice. If he thinks that “when ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be
wise,” then he is indeed the Fool.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is doing a
thoughtless action. And he must be careful because he’s taking a
very big risk.
2. THE MAGICIAN
- The subject of the reading has will, mastery, organizational skills,
creative talents. He has the ability to take the power from above and
direct it through desire into manifestation.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is indecisive
and has a weak will.
25
4. THE EMPRESS
- The subject of the reading is having a material wealth, marriage,
fertility for would-be parents, for farmers, or for people in the
creative arts. If its position is not in the best placement in relation to
other cards, it sometimes indicates luxury or dissipation.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is having an
infertility, loss of material possessions, inaction, frittering away of
resources. Possibility of destruction by war and famine. Poverty
may disrupt home. Psychological problems may cause instability.
5. THE EMPEROR
- The subject of the reading is good at leadership, mental activity,
domination. War-making power, authority, paternity. The fruits of
toil, the results of action. Controlled and directed sexual drive.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is having a
loss of control. Serious injury in battle. Emotional immaturity and
bondage to parents. Possibility of being defrauded of one’s
inheritance.
6. THE HIEROPHANT
The subject of the reading are suggested that it’s better for them to
follow social structures which are established and have their own
traditions.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is that they are
feeling particularly restricted and even constrained from too many
structures and rules. As a result, they have lost quite a lot of control
as well as flexibility in your life. They have a particularly strong will
and desire to go ahead and regain control as well as to break free
from the shackles of convention.
7. THE LOVERS
- The subject of the reading was given a choice to love, temptation,
attraction. The struggle between sacred and profane love. Harmony
of the inner and outer aspects of life.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading was having
quarrels, infidelity, danger of a broken marriage. They need to
26
stabilize their emotions. And there’s a possibility of a wrong choice
of love.
8. THE CHARlOT
- The subject of the reading is experiencing success, control over the
forces of nature—thus triumph over ill health as well as money
difficulties or enemies of any sort, including one’s own lower
animal passions. This is a card of those who achieve greatness. It
may also indicate travel in comfort. Mental and physical powers
should lead to fulfillment.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading can be seen
either a lack of ambition, focus or drive, or alternatively, too much
of it. Ultimately, this card brings up questions about how forceful or
aggressive you are when pursuing your goals. Are you someone that
waits around passively for things you want to happen, hoping that
they’ll fall in your lap? Or are you so forceful, that you are
inconsiderate of others in your pursuit of success? Both approaches
can bring you trouble.
9. STRENGTH
- The subject of the reading shows that they have inner strength and
fortitude during moments of danger and distress. It shows that they
have the ability to remain calm and strong even when their life is
going through immense struggle. It also shows that they are a
compassionate person and you always have time for other people
even if it's at your own expense.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading shows that
they are (or about to) experience an intense anger or fear in your life.
They seem to be lacking the inner strength that this card normally
represents, meaning they might be experiencing fear, and a lack of
conviction and confidence in their own abilities. This can mean that
they have forgotten all about their passions and the kind of joy,
happiness, and fulfillment that came with doing what they love. A
reversed strength card in a reading might also mean that one is
experiencing depression because of a number of reasons and
because of that, it is draining all of the happiness from their lives.
27
10. THE HERMIT
- The subject of the reading shows that they’re a seeker for the
knowledge that comes from within. A lonely wanderer in the path
of the night, they searches for that which can only be gained with
long periods of solitude - the inner voice. To hear it, they must
disconnect from the crowds whose voices and desires threaten to
overcome his own.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading shows
that they are perhaps in a situation where they'd like to be alone;
there is nothing wrong about that. However, there is a possibility
that their seclusion may become harmful to both theirself and
others. Though the Hermit sets forwards with noble intentions to
search for his inner truth, his path inward may also be filled with
great danger.
12. JUSTICE
- The subject of the reading shows that the decisions that they make
now have long-term effects in all things, both for theirself and others.
28
There will always come a time where they’ll will be judged. The
Justice tarot card appearing in a reading signals that a judgment will
be made fairly and accordingly.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading shows that it
could indicate various things. One Justice reversal meaning is to
show you are living in denial. You are not willing to accept the
consequences of your actions or others. You are running from your
guilt. You must however, be aware that these are actions that are in
the past. Your future depends on your actions today - and what you
will do to tip the scales in balance again.
14. DEATH
- The subject of the reading shows that one major phase in their life
is ending, and a new one is going to start. They just need to close
one door, so the new one will open. The past needs to be placed
behind them, so they can focus theirr energy on what is ahead of
them.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading shows that it
is still about change, but that they have been resisting it. They could
be worried about letting go of the past, or they could not be sure of
the changes that they need to make to go forward. Resisting the
change and holding onto the past can limit their future, which can
29
cause you to feel like they’re in a limbo. They should take some time
to assess the ways that they’ve been approaching changes in their
life.
15. TEMPERANCE
- The subject of the reading shows that in moments where there is
anxiety or great stress, they have been able to remain calm
throughout. They’re a person who has mastered the art of not letting
things get to them, and this allows them to achieve much progress
in all areas they seek out to explore.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading shows that
they need to reflect on something that is out of balance and may be
causing stress and anxiety.
31
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading shows that
they might have significant difficulties finding positive aspects to
certain situations. The clouds might be blocking out the warmth and
light that they need to progress.
21. JUDGEMENT
- The subject of the reading shows that they are in a period of
awakening, brought on by the act of self-reflection. They now have
a clearer idea of what they need to change and how they need to be
true to themselves and their needs.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading shows that
they doubt and judge themselves too harshly. This could be causing
them to miss opportunities that were awaiting at them. The lost
momentum causes them to fall behind in their plans, which can
make it difficult to move forward.

SPREADS
BASIC SPREAD
Curious about reading Tarot? Wonder how it works? Have you ever heard
of easy Tarot spreads? They’re creative card arrangements in Tarot readings,
revealing unique patterns and stories.
Every Tarot reader uses different ways to connect with those seeking
guidance.
Imagine a shuffled Tarot deck of 78 cards ready to unveil secrets. As they
mix, you focus on your question or intention. And voila! The Tarot spread
appears, guiding your interpretation.
Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, these patterns fit everyone. Ready?
Let’s explore some card Tarot spreads for beginners and seasoned Tarot
readers that uncover it all.
If you’ve worked with the tarot before, you’ve most likely already
encountered the famous Celtic Cross Tarot Spread. This well known 10 card
+ 1 tarot spread is flexible while also providing comprehensive answers to
so many questions and topics. It is also one of the rare tarot spreads that you
can use even when you don’t have a particular question to ask. With the
Celtic Cross Tarot Spread you can examine all the different aspects of a
situation, getting a piece by piece breakdown of any event that has crossed
your path. However, being a 10 card tarot spread, it can also be rather
complicated to work with, especially if you’re first starting out. Which is
why we think it’s worth taking the time to examine this spread a little more
closely.
44
The Basic Celtic Cross Spread
We’ll break down the Celtic Cross in the same way we do with other
standard tarot spreads, by looking at the positions of the cards.
1. The Present - This position reveals the current situation, and what is
now happening.
2. The Problem - This card represents the challenge that the querent is
facing at this time, something that they need to resolve in order to make
progress forward.
3. The Near Past - Here we see the near past events, and also how they
have shaped the current situation. This can give us some information
on influences in the past that have lead up to this state of affairs.
4. The Near Future - This card represents what could be a likely turn of
events, given that nothing changes. These are usually short term
happenings, and doesn’t represent the final resolution of these events.
45
5. Goals - This card explores what you are focused on, and where your
mind is. This can represent your goals and your desires regarding this
situation, as well as what your assumptions are.
6. You need to Work Out – This reveals on what you have right now
but you have to work out.
8. Family Influence - This card represents the family around you and
how it affects this situation. It may represent their social and emotional
environment that you are operating in, as well as how they perceive
you.
9. Hopes and Fears - One of the harder positions in this spread to decode,
this card can represent both what you secretly desire, as well as what
you may be trying to avoid. Human nature is often paradoxical, and
what we fear the most is sometimes what we also truly have been
hoping for all along.
46
11. Significator Card – This represents you. What’s your attitude
towards this situation.
You can invent your own three-card Tarot spreads as you become more
comfortable with your cards. Until then, borrow or adapt one of these tried
and true three-card tarot spread patterns:
Past-Present-Future
In the past, present, and future Tarot spread, the first card pulled represents
elements from the past affecting present events. This can give you some
clues about themes. A Minor Arcana suit alone can guide your interpretation.
47
For instance, a Cup card reveals a feelings-driven question, while a
Pentacles card may suggest underlying ideas about material gains or
security.
The second card, in the middle of the line-up, shows the nature of the Tarot
question or the querent’s current position.
Meanwhile, a Minor Arcana card in this position indicates that the querent
has more control.
Finally, the third Tarot card represents the likely outcome. Meditating on
the past and the present Tarot cards can show you how the future card fits
in.
If the future is undesirable, meditation can also help you make better choices
for the given circumstances.
The final card can be flexible. Perhaps it reveals a likely outcome, or it can
offer advice for the querent: how should they act to make the most of the
situation?

LOVE SPREADS
Of all the topics in the breadth of human imagination, there is none ever so
popular and mysterious as that of love. Whether you're asking about new
loves, or clarifying the situation with your current love, these tarot spreads
are designed to help you out.
1. What you want in love - What does it mean to you? Why are you
searching for it? What is your ideal kind of love?
2. What you learnt from love - What lesson did you take away from
your prior relationships? How did past experiences in love give you
more wisdom?
3. What holds you back from love - What must you accomplish before
love comes to you? Before it holds true?
4. Readiness of your heart - Is your heart ready? Does it still belong to
another?
5. Readiness of your mind - Is your mind ready? What objections does
it bring? Does it fear being hurt again?
6. Readiness of your spirit - Is your spirit ready? How does your higher
self respond to love?

FINDING LOVE RELATIONSHIP
And then we get to the fun part! There's something so fun about imagining
what a new kind of love can look like, and what we can bring to it. This
spread was meant to help you think through those possibilities - maybe even
in places where you might have not thought about. One thing I
should probably note here - I don't believe in telling the future with tarot.
To me, this spread is all about bringing you a new vision of what your future
loves could be like. That perspective is powerful, and is enough to help your
search and open your eyes to what may already be in front of you.
51
2. Lover's characteristics - What will they be like? What are their most
striking features?
3. How you will meet - In what circumstances will you meet your new
lover?
4. Characteristics of relationship - What is the dynamic of this
relationship? How do you connect?
5. Potential of relationship - Where is this relationship going? What can
it look like?
HEALING HEARTS
For those of us who find this season a little difficult, this spread is here to
help you investigate and analyze what blocks you.
This spread offers a compassionate exploration of past romantic
experiences to shed light on the lessons learned and possible pathways to
healing. Tarot readings using this spread will provide gentle guidance and
52
introspection to help you discover the keys needed to release old patterns,
forgive, nurture self-love and find more fulfilling relationships.
As with the previous spread, the Healing Hearts love spread can be used
whether you're single or paired up. You can either ask about your general
approach to romance, or you can ask in the context of your existing or
potential relationship. We've provided 2 versions of the questions for this
spread below.
53
CAREER SPREADS
Another of the more common topics we'll see being asked about is work.
We spend so much of our lives at our job; sometimes it can be a drag, and
if we're lucky - it can also be a fulfilling mission. If you're looking for advice
around this topic, try starting with a spread here.
For those of you are looking for a status check on where your work situation
is going, this general-purpose spread is meant to do that for you. This can
be used for several scenarios; whether you’re pretty happy and are thinking
of your longer term trajectory, whether you’re feeling a little blasé about
where you are, and perhaps need some reminders about what you’re doing
there. If you’re at somewhere you don’t particularly like, but you need to be
there for various reasons, this spread might also help you find some of the
more positive moments in your job, and ground you in the bigger picture of
where you’re going. No matter where you are in your life, it’s always
important to consider a longer term picture, whether to find something you
can strive for, or to remind you that the tomorrows of the world don’t need
to be the same as your today.
54
1. What is your purpose here? - Why did you choose this job in the first
place?
2. What motivates you? - What about this job pushes you to do what
you do everyday? What inspires you to do your best?
3. What are you responsibilities? - What is your role here, whether it’s
in the job description or not?
4. How are your projects doing? - Your current state - what is the
environment like? How do you feel about the work?
5. What are the potential rewards? - What you stand to gain from this
job, financially, spiritually, or otherwise.
6. Where is this all leading? - What is a possible future that is coming
from all of this?
55
1. What is your dream job? - What would it look like? What would you
be doing everyday? What would be your role? What could you gain?
2. How can you get there? - What are the paths forward?
3. What qualities do you bring to the table? - What do you have within
you that would help you in your dream job?
4. Where can you find assistance? - Who can help you? What networks
are available to you?
5.What needs attention? - What have you overlooked that could impact
your path there?
FRIENDSHIP SPREADS
A friendship Tarot spread can help give you insight into your friendships
and connections with others. It can help you strengthen your connections
and find new ones. It can give you an insight into how close you currently
are and what your future together could hold.
FRIENDSHIP
If you’d rather do the spread yourself there are a couple of different ways
that you can go about it depending on the insight you want to gain.
56
If you’re not certain about the connection you could do a friend or foe Tarot
spread but we can also focus on how to further and deepen a known
friendship. If you’re potentially looking at your friendship becoming a
romantic one, you could also do a Tarot spread on how they feel about you.
