    This is to request your office for the approval of the undersigned to attend and compete in the 2023
    Regional Science and Technology Fair to be held at Schools Division Office of Quirino, Quirino
    Province.

    Since the activity will be undertaken during school day, we would like to tender the following
    justifications, to wit:

    a. That as per Regional Memorandum No. 351, s. 2023, the said activity is a DepEd sponsored
    activity which is scheduled on December 7-9, 2023, therefore it is not a violation of DepEd Order
    No. 34, s. 2022 wherein only those extracurricular activities are to be prohibited.

    b. That the Regional Memorandum No. 351, s. 2023 sought for teachers and student researchers
    with technical skills compete in TUKLAS, a full-blown science investigatory project that will
    enhance the teachers and students’ researching skills contributing to profession and learning
    development.
