The Computer Science club at SCC is open for all students who
are majoring in Computer Science or anyone who is interested in
learning and developing their knowledge and practical skills,
including web development, software-hardware interaction, AI
etc. It would give a chance for students to explore various areas
in the field of CS, to help them find their passion if they are still
new or unsure. We also have a Discord server, which acts as a
platform for club members to discuss, help each other out and
share helpful resources such as relevant events (e.g. hackathons,
webinar, transfer resources). Our club mission is to provide a
collaborative learning environment for our members to build on
each other's ideas and grow together as a club to take a step
Computer Science Club closer to achieving our academic and career goals. Kayla Jang ysjang@shoreline.edu Rachel Prijatna rachel.prijatna@go.shoreline.edu
The club will serve as a place where actors can practice improv. In the
past Improv class has usually only been offered once a year. This will
allow past students who have taken the class to come together and
continue to practice improv throughout the year, as well as allow
other students who have never done improve before to try it out. This
extra rehearsal time will also allow us to put on more improv shows in
the year. Our goal right now is to have another show by June. During
remote operations we can meet via zoom or conference call and come
up with new games or ideas to implement. We could also play some
games that are mostly speaking games and don’t require being in
Improv Club person. Deb Pralle dpralle@shoreline.edu Seena Soltani seenasoltani@yahoo.com

space for 1 hour a week and write about an event or situation that
impacted them to release the baggage associated with it and move
on. Write to Heal is a session where students will use writing as a tool
to process an event or situation and to grow and learn from it.
Students who are flexible and open to learning can attend the club
meetings. The meetings will be held every other Wednesday from 2
