    32.02 Backfilling

    The minimum relative compaction to be achieved in the
    compacted area shall be 95% maximum dry density and the
    moisture content shall be within the range of 95% dry density in
    accordance with the requirements of ES 1648, BS6031. The
    moisture content of the fill material shall be adjusted as necessary
    31.3.1 to achieve the required compaction. M3 51.74
    Backfill around footings and foundation column with non-
    expansive selected material from site and compact in layers not
    exceeding 150mm thick by sprinkling water to insure 95%
    modified AASHTO dry density.The minimum relative compaction
    to be achieved in the compacted area shall be 95% maximum dry
    density and the moisture content shall be within the range of 95%
    dry density in accordance with the requirements of ES 1648,
    BS6031. The moisture content of the fill material shall be adjusted

    3 Cast Insitu concrete and formwork

    Provide, cut and fix in position sawn structural wood or steel


    formwork where ever is appropriate as per the engineer
    representative approval and shall be constructed to the exact sizes,
    shapes lines and dimensions shown and as required to obtain
    accurate alignment, location grade, level and plumb work in
    finished structures. Provision shall be made for openings, offset,
    sinking, keyways, recesses, moldings, reglets, chamfers,
    blockings, screeds bullheads, anchorages, inserts and other

    Reinforced concrete quality C-25, with minimum cement content


    of 360 kg/m3 concrete filled in to form work and vibrated
    around rod reinforcement (Formwork and reinforcement measured

    1.6.2.1 Surface Water Drainage ditch

    a) Construct rectangular open channel which collect storm water from the road and
    building out of 400mm thick masnory wall with 6mm thick concrete copping and
    10cm bottom concrete bedding all in accordance to the detail drawing price shall
    include excavation, back fill, cart away and any necessary work to complete the
    work. Provide a minimum slope of 1% or follow the natural ground slope or follow
    1.6.2.1.1 the road slope which ever is greater
