What is VSoIP?
VSoIP stands for Video Surveillance over Internet Protocol. It is a complete system devised by Ganz to make sophisticated, easy-to-use network surveillance available to everyone.

Future-proof
Add sites, cameras or users to your system whenever you need to. VSoIP will grow with your organisation.

How does VSoIP work?

Cameras from your CCTV network broadcast crisp, digitised signals over a LAN (local area network) to a server. The server instantly manages these signals, transmitting real-time images across the internet. Footage recorded on DVR evidence recorders is also available for viewing.

How easy is VSoIP to install?

Very. And it integrates easily with existing systems without requiring any extra cabling. That means it is simple for managers to implement, minimising disruption, training and nancial outlay.

retrottable
Seamlessly integrate VSoIP into a traditional CCTV system, using existing cameras, DVRs and cabling.

Will VSoIP integrate into my existing system?

Yes. Retrotting is a cinch. And you can continue to use your existing components, whether they are analogue or digital, alongside new ones.

How secure is VSoIP?

Despite its open nature, VSoIP is locked away from prying eyes. Only authenticated users will have access to the images and controls.

Why is VSoIP better than a traditional system?

Superior picture quality Reduced cabling costs Not limited to one location Allows remote monitoring Motion detection Automated alarm alerts Remote operation of cameras, lights, barriers etc.

compatible
VSoIP works with digital or analogue components from any manufacturer.

turn any Pc into a control room, viewing footage and relaying commands back to the system

case study
This British chain of bookmakers has ambitious growth plans, and VSoIP has been chosen to play a key part in its expansion. Based in central London and with branches all over the UK, the companys managers need to be able to monitor and direct operations from remote locations via laptops when they are on the move. For them, one of the most important benets of the system is its compatibility with a wide range of traditional cameras and DVR equipment, as well as more modern IP products, because the company is very much on the acquisition trail. As additional branches are acquired it will be a real advantage that any previously installed CCTV equipment can be retained and simply integrated into the VSoIP network. The system will be recorded locally, with images that can easily be downloaded centrally as required. One of the primary functions of the system will be to allow the senior managers to oversee activity at branches around the country without having to travel continuously, helping to ensure consistency and high standards throughout the group.

case study
The highest possible image quality, real-time monitoring and recording, and robust back-up systems were the three top priorities for this international bank when it came to choosing a state-of-the-art CCTV system. The bank, which has two adjacent branches in central London, has plans to expand and it wanted the most secure and exible foundation in place for all its security systems. Our VSoIP system was chosen for its CCTV management because it meets all the banks requirements for both current and future operations, giving it maximum control and exibility. An internal control room is being used to monitor around 40 cameras, with the highest recording quality running continuously 24/7. The system has three servers, one of which monitors the other two and will provide immediate back-up in the event of a server failure. This gives the bank peace of mind, because live and recorded images will always be available.
