    Steps:
    01 Transform the Quadratic Equation
    to the form 𝒂𝒙𝟐 + 𝒃𝒙 = 𝒄

    02 Divide all terms by 𝒂 resulting to


    𝟐 𝒃 𝒄
    𝒙 + 𝒂𝒙 = 𝒂

    03 Add the square of one-half of the


    middle term to both sides of the
    equation.
    Steps:
    04 Factor the left-hand side of
    the equation resulting to a
    square of a binomial. On the
    other hand, simplify the
    expression on the right-hand
    side of the equation.
    05 Solve the resulting equation
    by extracting the roots.

    (the coefficient
