File preparation and slicing capabilities: Cura can import a variety of 3D model file formats and
allows users to scale, rotate and orient the model on the print bed. It has a multitude of parameters or
print settings that allow all levels of users to slice the model as per their custom requirements. Once
the parameters are set, the user can generate the G-code with just a click of a button.
Integrated 3D model viewer: Cura includes a built-in 3D model viewer that allows users to visualise
and manipulate their models in real time, making it simple to adjust the model’s orientation and
placement before printing.
Customizable print settings and profiles: Cura offers a variety of print settings, including layer
height, infill density, print speed, support, retraction, bed adhesion, and others. Users can also create
and save profiles for various printer models and materials, making it simple to switch between printing
configurations.
Support for a wide range of 3D printers and materials: Cura works with a wide range of 3D
printers and materials, including filament-based printers, resin printers, and others. It also includes a
library of pre-configured print profiles for many popular printer models and materials, making it
simple for users to begin their 3D printing projects.

Requirements
Slicing: Cura Slicer
Procedure:
1. Switch ON the Creality Ender 3 machine.
2. Place the extruder assembly in home position to make the X, Y and Z axes back to the
mechanical zero point. by clicking Settings – Home – ok.
3. Preheat the Bed and Extruder by clicking + and - Tap symbol, we could set preheat
temperature; Long press + and - symbol to set preheat temperature rapidly;
4. The extruder is heated up to 220 0C. After heat completed, insert the filament into the extruder
at an upright angle until some resistance is sensed (as the filament is pushed through the
feeding wheel). Load will complete when you see filament come out of extruder.
5. After generating the G code file in flash print software, we can transfer it to your Adventurer 3
with different network methods. If use USB stick to print, please insert your USB stick with
target .g/.gx file to your Creality Ender 3, there will be no need to set new network.
6. After inserting the USB drive, Tap [Build], choose the file path: Printer internal memory, USB
stick, Cloud.
7. Choose the model file, tap on its right to start printing; or tap model picture or model name to
enter detail page, tap to start printing.
8. Extruder will heat up automatically, when heating finishes, the printer will start to build the
model. After printing completed, printer will sound a beep and pop out a notice on the touch
screen.
9. Take out the removable build plate. Bend the build plate, the plate will produce certain
deformation, separating the plate away from the bottom of model (Please use a scraper to assist
removing when model is too small or big).
