OVERVIEW

The illegal drug use in the Philippines


is lower than the global average,
according to United Nations Office
on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC).
Two of the most used & valuable illegal drugs
in the country are (methamphetamine hydrochloride)
shabu and marijuana.

In 2012, the UNODC


said that Philippines
had the highest rate
of use of shabu in East Asia,
2.1% are aged 16 to 64 use the drug.

the UNODC reported
that 1.1% of Filipinos
aged 10 to 69 use the drug.

who use several types of illegal drugs

predominantly in tobacco
& lower quantities in tomato, potato,
Eggplant & green pepper.
