Rules and Regulations for Part-Time teachers

Main Duties
1. Punctuality:
 All part-time teachers must arrive on time for their scheduled classes.
2. Leave Policy
 Par-time teachers are expected to fulfill their commitments without taking
leaves due to their part-time status.
 Any exceptions must be discussed and approved in advance.
3. Emergency Communication
 In case of emergencies that may prevent a teacher from attending their duties,
immediate notification is required to arrange suitable relief.
4. Non-Discrimination
 Teachers must treat all students with fairness and equality, refraining from any
form of discrimination based on gender, race, or background.
5. Communication with parents and Colleagues
 Maintain positive and effective communication with both parents and fellow
teachers to foster a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
 All teachers are strictly prohibited from transporting or disseminating any
form of gossip or confidential information from this education center to other
locations.
 Upholding the privacy and reputation of students, parents and fellow teachers
is paramount.
 Violation of this rule may result in disciplinary action.
6. Assessment Schedule and Format
 Part-time teachers are responsible for conduction regular assessments,
including one test every two months, semestral exam and year-end exams.
Adherence to the assessment schedule is crucial.
 All assessment questions must be unseen, and the format of questions is to be
provided by the academic head.
 The questions for the year-end exams will be exclusively prepared and
provided by the academic head. All teachers are familiarizing themselves with
the format and content, ensuring a standardized and comprehensive evaluation
process for all students.
 The year-end exam will be conducted in a traditional paper format.
 Part-time teachers are required to submit all exam results to the academic head
within one week of conducting the assessments. This timely submission
allows for efficient record-keeping and enables prompt feedback to students
and parents.
 All exam results must be submitted to the academic head in editable Excel
formats.
 Teachers are responsible for providing accurate and well-organized data to
maintain the quality of academic record.
7. Feedback to Parents
 After each exam, teachers are required to provide brief feedback to parents
regrading their child’s strengths and weakness. This information should be
communicated privately to foster a constructive understanding of the student’s
progress.
 Following the semestral exam, teachers are expected to give detailed feedback
on students’ performance. This feedback should be sent privately to parents,
highlighting specific areas of improvement and achievement, fostering a
collaborative effort between teachers and parents in supporting each student’s
educational journey.
8. Activity Participation
 Engage in extracurricular activities when feasible, contributing to the overall
development and enrichment of students’ educational experiences.

Additional Requirements
1. Professional Development
 All teachers are required to attend professional development classes and
webinars directed by the educational center. Active participation in these
sessions is essential for continuous growth, staying updated on educational
practices and enhancing teaching skills to provide a high-quality learning
experience for students.

2. Record Keeping
 Maintain accurate records of students performance and attendance, submitting
necessary documentations as required.
3. Dress Code
 Adhere to a professional dress code that reflects the educational setting.
4. Classroom Management
 Effectively manage the virtual classroom environment during online sessions.
 Emphasize the significance of maintaining discipline alongside fostering
academic excellence in the virtual classroom.
 Create a conducive learning environment.
5. Confidentiality
 Respect the confidentiality of students’ information and refrain form
discussing individual student matters outside of professional context.
 Any violation of confidentiality rules, including unauthorized disclosure of
sensitive information, will result in immediate suspension from work.
 In the event of confidentiality breach, the education center reserves the right to
publicly acknowledge the violation on the Facebook page, including the photo
of the individual involved.
6. Student Poaching and Unauthorized Resource Use
 All teachers are strictly prohibited from soliciting or “poaching students form
the education center for personal gain. Any attempts to influence students to
leave the center for private tutoring or alternative services will be considered a
serious breach of professional conduct and may lead to immediate termination
of employment.
 All teachers are strictly forbidden from utilizing educational center resources
for personal or external purposes without explicit permission. Any authorized
use of materials, technology, or other resources outside the educational center
is considered a breach of conduct and may lead to immediate termination of
employment.
 In the event of professional and conduct breach, the education center reserves
the right to publicly acknowledge the violation on the Facebook page,
including the photo of the individual involved.
