NIPPON E-MARINE 400 HS


A high-build and high-solid epoxy paint which provides excellent resistance to water, chemicals,
abrasion and corrosion. It is rarely blooming due to night dew, etc. It can be used all through the
year as it has good drying property at low temperatures. There is no maximum interval in the case
of by-self overcoating.

Suitable Use Anticorrosive for cargo holds, decks, superstructures,


engine room and pump room, void spaces, cofferdams, etc.

Proper ventilation and protective measures must be provided during
applications and drying period to keep solvent vapor concentrations
within safe limits.
Prior to use, obtain, consult and follow the SDS for this product
concerning health and safety information.

1) The information contained in this sheet is liable to modification from time to time in the light of

2) When applying a finish coat over NIPPON E-MARINE 400 HS, remove any chalked layers, salt and
other foreign matter with high pressure fresh water, etc.
3) Basically one coat system is used for the application to wooden chip carriers' cargo holds.
4) For availability of product consult Nippon Paint Marine representatives.
5) Unit size and filled volumes can vary due to local regulations.
6) Store the paints in paint store.
7) Some regions will be supplied with NIPPON MARINE THINNER 615
instead of NIPPON MARINE THINNER 600.
8) Use products that comply with local regulations to clean the paint equipment.
