School and classroom observation report

This task belongs to unstructured assignment (Tugas Mandiri Terstruktur ) for English for Difable
course. It this task, students need to conduct observation and performing teaching practice at
schools that accommodate disabled students. The following are some guidance on composing the
report.

A. School observation
You should describe it in some paragraphs. The description should cover some of the
following questions:
a. What is the name of the school?
b. Where is the school located?
c. What kind of disability that can be accommodated by the school?
d. Are there any facilities that can accommodate disabled students?
e. Can you describe the teachers’ educational background especially dealing with
disabled students?
f. What curriculum does the school apply (especially for English subject)?
B. Classroom Observation
You should describe it in some paragraphs. The description should cover some of the
following questions:
a. What class do you observe?
b. Can you describe the classroom condition (classroom management, types of student
disability)
c. What materials are delivered at that time?
d. What are teaching methods and strategies employed by the teacher?
e. What are media used by teacher during the class?
f. How can you describe the learning atmosphere during the English class?
g. What aspects that need to be improved to accommodate the English teaching
learning at that class?
