1. When the marked price and selling price after discount are given,
write the formula to find the rate of discount.
2. Find the area of triangle if it's two equal side is 5cm and unequal side
is 8cm.

c. Represent the above information in a venn-diagram.
25. A shopkeeper allowed 10% discount on his goods to make 20%
profit. If he sold a watch for Rs. 10,170 with 13%VAT, by what
percent is the discount to be increased to make only 12% profit.
26. An umbrella is made up of 8 isosceles triangular pieces of cloths. The
measurement of the base of each triangular piece is 28cm and two
equal sides are 50cm each. If the rate of cost of the cloth required to
make the umbrella.

34. The compound interest of a certain sum for 2 years is Rs. 8034 and

interest.

pyramid and a square-based prism.
If the volume of the solid object
